"Speaking" 'Thinking'
A week went by of him just learning and putting things together. He hadn't seen another animal in a while, though along the way he ended up taking care of a few baby rodents as well. He's not quite sure what they were, ferrets maybe... weasels?
He's become a tad more proficient with his quirk, using it as much as he could to figure out everything. So far he hasn't learned much more then when he'd created the sapling. Plants appear from his skin at times and others they grow all around him. In his sleep he apparently created the tree after thinking about how annoying the bumpy ground was.
Now, as time went on, he'd used this to create wood steps up the mountain that the waterfall fell from. It took time and he had to take plenty of breaks since it was a more complicated process. He'd also continued his waterfall training from that day, though he's young, it's still good to at least try to gain a bit of strength, he'd already figured out that he's going to have a hard time with hunting.
Oh yeah, the boar's pelt from before, he'd used a fish bone and created a needle, afterwards using the thread that came from his fingers to sew it together. He'd created a make shift dress, he wasn't the biggest fan of wearing something that girls did, but at the same time he wasn't going to waste the pelt and try and fail to create pants.
His area has become a lot more developed, he'd even created a small spear like weapon from the boar's bones, though they were a bit small, they still worked good enough. The monkeys seemed to follow a lot of his actions, learning a lot from him and even how to hunt. They themselves created small weapons, using the bones that he didn't need to create their own, though they didn't bother to sharpen them or anything.
The large stump from before became his dismantling spot, he wasn't the happiest with it since it was his first time properly using his quirk, but he'd used it that one time and it'd been stained since. Instead he created small little things around the area and formed a small kitchen area. A spot for pelting, hanging, cooking, and dismantling. He'd even created himself a small garden, watering it with pond water from time to time. It didn't really rain that much since he'd gotten here, he'd say it's lucky for him, but he also knows that plants need water.
The stairs he'd slowly created brought him to yet another pond, this one's fish were slightly bigger then the one down below, probably eating the smaller fish that fell from even further above. There wasn't too much land up there, but there was enough for him to create a small structure, he was thinking about making himself a small home. It was perfect, animals would have a hard time getting up here, well, the ones didn't follow him.
With the time passed by, he began to think that help was no longer coming, though he already knew that it wouldn't, he still had a bit of hope that he could go back home. He didn't even bother to mark how many days he'd been living in the forest, it may end up causing him trouble in the future, but if he was going to stay here, he shouldn't have any hope of going back to the city. (At this point a full week passed by, he'd gotten here on July 15 so now it would be around July 22.)
Now he was simply sitting on the platform he'd made at the second pond. The fish happily played in the water and messed around with the bigger fish inside. They weren't big enough to eat them thankfully, he'd feel bad for allowing them to play in there if they were.
He laid out on the platform and stretched his sore muscles. He'd even gotten sunburnt, his body was red and he'd ended up getting a bit of a tan along with it, that's what happens though when you're not careful out in the sun. He'd pretty much abandoned his clothes, after some time being out here they just couldn't hold up as much as the pelt could. He'd even made underwear, though they weren't the best...
He'd been busy the entire day, the animals, mostly the rodents, didn't tend to hunt for themselves, so he ended up getting fish for them. They ate it happily, unlike him who easily got sick of eating the same thing.
He laid out on the platform and simply looked at the sky. Observing the clouds up above, it was the only thing that helped him relax and get out of his head, even if it was deathly hot out here without air conditioner. He didn't think of home too much, but he did miss his family, instead he tends to think of all the things he could use his quirk to create out here. Human made structures could be dangerous out here, if he was in the end found out, he'd be taken away from the small baby animals that have found their way into his heart. He wasn't the type to abandon them either.
He remembers it's around the end of summer, his birthday was only a few days ago after all. He'd even just started going back to school. Now that he's not there, he's wondering what his friends would think. Or..., Kacchan, its the first time he's even really thought about him. Izuku took his claw and brought it down onto a small circular rock, clawing out the figure of his bestfriend.
He doesn't even know if the boy ended up with a good quirk or not, he never got the chance to tell him about his either. No doubt his would be amazing, probably something with acid too, his parents always mentioned that he'd probably end up with an acid related quirk similar to his father's.
He looked at the rock and smiled as his friend's features formed properly. He thought about it and decided to make one of his mother and father as well, just so that he doesn't end up forgetting them. He finds it scary that he could actually forget his own parents, but he's heard from the neighbor that you forget things with age. He doesn't want to grow up if that's the case.
His claws scratched against the hard rock, his mother's wonderful face smiling as if right in front of him. He'd never been the greatest at drawing before, he's not quite sure why he's good at it now, maybe its just because he doesn't want to forget. His father's was a little more difficult, the man was quite tall, his face was always strict looking however loving at the same time. (Great drawing skills actually comes from another animal part his body transformed into - A mixed brain, that of a human and dolphin's brain. It makes memories stronger and it enables him to see every part of them, similar to that of a photogenic or other such memory.)
Izuku felt a tear roll down his face as he looked at the drawings of those close to him. He missed them, it'd already been a week, his father told him when they went camping that if he ever disappeared he'd find him, but he also told him about the week theory... That police tend to give up after a week goes by, they end up handing over the case to someone else.
Izuku made a few more carvings of the people in his life. Those he didn't want to forget, his neighbors, they'd taught him a lot and he's grateful for them since he's able to survive out here because of most of that knowledge. His aunt Mitsuki and her husband, as well as a few others that took care of him when his parents were off at work. Afterwards he'd probably hang them around the cave. Moving them back to here once he ends up building his home.
