"Speaking" 'Thinking'
Izuku examined the body of the snake he'd killed. The thing must have poison or something, how could it have killed the little monkey so quickly if it didn't. He sighed in annoyance at the memory of one of their own getting killed.
There was a large hole in the body of the snake, his claws ripped through it harshly, so it was no doubt that it died quickly. Though he'd like to use the snake to make a statement, he'd also like to use it's venom, if it was powerful enough to kill one of their own, no doubt it would be good to kill or at least weaken a strong predictor that he couldn't take out on his own.
The body of the snake could be used for the statement, no animal that brings harm to their own were welcome into the pack. It was simple, however it held meaning.
He'd hang the body of the snake on a tree in front of the settlement. He looked around through it's body for a moment, looking for where it kept it's venom. He could empty it out onto a small plate and dip either darts or arrows into it when needed. Though he'd have to keep the others away from it.
He sighed and looked through the body of the snake, finally finding what he believed to be the venom sack, he got it out of the snake's body and placed it onto the small rock plate. Afterwards grabbing his spear and placing the body of the snake onto the end of it, finally launching the thing into a tree high enough so that other animals could see but not get it and just low enough so that it wasn't in the leaves. He was a tad worried for the birds though.
He huffed and finally began his work. He really wanted to create a bow now, it'd been on his to do list for a while, he just hasn't gotten around to it. That and he's not entirely sure if what he's planning will work. His string was strong, really strong, but he'd still have to layer it. Not only that, the white string usually revealed itself in the light, so he's planning on dyeing it using the left over charcoal of a fire.
He got to work, finding a long durable stick that wouldn't break easily, afterwards using his claws to shave it down to what he needed it to look like. The bark was all removed and now he was in the process of making thread. It took time to get a lot of it. At night he'd some times make little balls of it so that he wouldn't have to do this, but right now he still had to dismantle the deer and feed the others. Most of them were all still sitting at the grave of their friend. The only one of them to have a name.
They must be talking to one another, either trying to figure out what it meant or how they could even read it. It's not like he expected them to be able to read after all. He finished up the preparations for the bow, finally he looked over at the venom sack from the body of the snake. It had a strange smell to it. It almost smelt like... cucumbers?
He shook his head and decided to put the making of his bow aside and get their meal ready. Going back to the deer he began the process of cutting into it and getting whatever he could salvage. ( He'd figured out how to use his quirk more and more and with the venom he ended up making a wooden flask with a screw top. It would later be tied to a belt around his waist and at time's he'd spill it over arrows or darts.)

The monkeys and the three bears stumbled their way over. The smell of cooked venison made it's way over to the other side of the calmed river, the animals no doubt were hungry after not eating all day and worrying over their friend's passing.
The fox and the little rodents that rode on it's back made their way over slowly. The animals honestly didn't seem to hold much remorse for the loss of their friend, it was understandable, not only were they animals, they weren't even the same species.
The meat wasn't the greatest, however the others seemed to eat it far more happily. To him who used to live in the city, the meat was just bland, there was nothing on it so it just tasted strange. Well that and he's never eaten deer meat before. He thought about the food he'd eaten back in the city, it wasn't much compared with the foods that he'd seen, but he's had his fair share of meals as well. (He's only four so it just makes sense to me that he wouldn't have had many different types of foods yet.)
He wondered if he could find some things in the wild that could make the meat taste better. Seasonings grow from plants, so it shouldn't be too hard to find something. He knows that certain flowers are used for teas, maybe he could test out plants from time to time too.
He huffed and continued to eat. There was no point in wasting food, he's out in the wild and might not be able to get food at times, so wasting food was something he wasn't planning on doing. He gave a determined face as he continued to eat, it didn't matter if it tasted bad, he'd finish his meal and he'd continue to do so no matter what. He'd probably grow use to it later on anyway.

Izuku had remembered the monkey's features perfectly, Oda was a very friendly monkey, a part of the family that always loved to play. He carved an image out of stone of Oda's features. Perfect as it was, it didn't make sense that he could draw him, though if he's being honest with himself, a lot of things haven't made sense. Maybe it's just that he's better with faces, his memory isn't the greatest with older things, like from the city, but for some reason the things that happen within the forest are clear in his mind, everything he's learned, it's all sticking to his memory like he was born to learn it.
He'd carved out Oda's image and placed his name under the image. Afterwards he'd gone to the grave, it was far more peaceful there then he'd realized it'd be. The tree was beautiful, the running river water was calm and gave a fresh scent and white noise to the area, the ground was even mossy and full of perfectly green grass. He walked over to the grave slowly, placing the stone on the top of his grave. Little vines came up from the ground and took hold of the stone. A smile formed on his face as the stone was accepted and made a part of the small grave.
From now on, he dubs this place the purple willow cemetery. A very sacred place, it'd be where he buries his pack and as it grows the more peaceful he'll make it. Over the small stream, he used his quirk once more, a bridge formed over it, covering it but not obstructing it. A walkway was created to the bigger river and over it, all the way towards the other side. An arch was formed, a tori gate that he's seen on shrines, he's not sure what they really mean since his parents weren't all that religious, but he knows that it's a sign of respect at least. At the thickest part of the tori gate, at the top of it, wrote the words Purple Willow. Again, he'd no doubt change it in the future if he forgot anymore words, he'd just have to come up with something that both he and the animals could easily understand.
