"Speaking" 'Thinking'

- Little insight on the place that he's found himself. It's known as a forbidden forest, an unexplored forest that humans have a hard time living, camping, or even simply hiking in. A lot of dangerous animals live within the forest, mostly predictors that would have an easy time taking on even the powered humans of the mha universe. -

Izuku looked around the cave, the stone floor was rough and messy, unlike the flat rock he'd woken up on, the cave was bumpy and he'd no doubt have a hard time walking further in. He looked around for a moment, the cave was larger then he'd thought. It almost looked like a tunnel rather than a cave. He wasn't sure if that was a good thing.

Even though he's sure this place is cold, he didn't really feel cold, in fact he didn't feel all that warm either, it was just like room temperature? It was probably another part of his weird quirk. The fox yapped at his side, no doubt feeling uneasy about the tunnels. Though, he felt like he could make something out of this place.

The water fall wasn't small, the pond at the bottom was even almost as big as a lake, but it didn't have any bigger creatures hiding in it so he'd rather call it a simple pond. It probably didn't have any bigger animals in it because the waterfall was so tall. He'd never seen a waterfall as big as this one, so he's not even sure if he's still in Musutafu, let alone Japan.

His tail fell to the floor of the cavern, he noticed the texture of the rock and looked down, the water had made a smaller river inside, the water leading further into the cave. He ignored that for the moment and instead looked down at the fox. He'd found a place to sleep tonight, so maybe it was best to eat now?

Is it safe to eat the fish here? The fox had eaten it just fine, but he's not sure if he can. He shook his head, once again not bothering to wonder if he'll get sick or not. He'll have to find away to make a fire. He's well aware that raw food isn't good for humans. (Ahem..., shark's stomach...)

He's only ever gone camping a few times and that was with his dad, even then his father used a lighter. He sighed to himself and simply took a seat on the hard rock flooring. The water from the waterfall fell onto the rock near the entrance, interrupting any thought process he may have been in.

His tail wrapped around his body as he watched the water fall. Why was survival so difficult, he understood that you can just hit rocks together, but even then a spark doesn't come easily. He's not that stupid, though to be honest he's not the smartest either...

He only knows a few of these things because his father was so into survival shows, not only that, he really enjoyed camping in places like these too. Izuku wracked his brain for any ideas that would help. Instead of thinking for too long about it, he left the safety of the waterfall hidden cave and decided to just try the rock method. He looked around for a fallen tree, but the area was pretty well maintained, not human wise, but it was obvious that the plants were healthy, the only thing that would work were fallen branches.

He hummed to himself as he went along and picked up anything he could, looking up at the trees he spotted something and an idea formed.

'Sorry little birds, but my survival comes first.' He thought to himself as his claws sharpened and instantly found their way into the tree. His tail wrapped around the tree and steadied his movement. He climbed up fairly easily, his claws doing most of the work, he would definitely fall if it wasn't for his tail.

He got to where the nest was and noticed that there were a few eggs, he honestly felt kind of bad for doing it, but at the same time the birds weren't there. Usually at least one of the birds would stay in the nest to protect the eggs.

Survival of the fittest at this point, he grabbed the nest, without him even realizing it, his tail had wrapped around one of the branches, his body went weightless as he tried to climb down...

He was currently hanging by his tail..., and it was a lot sturdier then what he'd thought it'd be. Swinging was something he wasn't about to do, not only did he have no idea how to balance himself, he knew very well that the branch he was on wouldn't be able to handle it.

Slowly climbing down with the help of both his claws and his tail, he met back with the little fox. The red furred creature looking at him once more as if he was an abomination. He shook it off and walked over to the pond, placing a claw into the water and simply waiting. These fish weren't used to humans, so it actually made sense why they weren't super aware.

It took a little while and he'd caught a few, one or two of them quickly being handed over to the expectant looking fox at his side. At this point he might not learn how to hunt for himself.

Izuku took the eggs out and placed the nest with the abundance of sticks he'd gathered. He was lucky that he couldn't spot any clouds above. Izuku found a couple rocks that weren't near the pond and luckily didn't seem to get wet. He thought about how this would go, if a spark didn't appear would he have caught those fish for nothing? Well it's not like the fox couldn't eat them though, so he's not going to worry too much over it.

Izuku sighed for a moment and pointed the rocks towards the dried nest. The eggs were placed in a small spot that water gathered to keep them chilled, sorry to the mother of those eggs, but he wasn't interested in eating a baby bird.
