 Class Trial In Session

I felt numb and hollow. Why were we back in these trial grounds?! Why was this happening over and over and over again! ¨As you probably know at this point, If you find the killer correctly, they will be executed and the rest of you may continue there communal life. However, If you guess wrong, the killer will graduate and everyone else will be executed.¨ Avoiding my desire to punch Monokuma, I decided to focus on the trial. Shuichi started the debate this time to get us on the right track, though I could see Junko falling apart after her sister's murder. ¨Shuichi started up the conversation, first we should decide what the cause of death was. That's when Mondo immedietely interrupted. ¨What do you mean?! Obviously the spear was the murder weapon! It was the only thing there that could have killed her!¨ I was unconvinced though. Not only was the spear in her arm very unlikely to have killed her considering where it was and there was also the fact that the ultimate soldier would have most likely been able to deal with a wound like that, but there was something that Shuichi and I found at the crime scene that would have made the cause of death vastly different. ¨Not exactly Mondo,¨ Shuichi countered. ¨There was something else at the crime scene that could have been a possible cause of death. Do you remember what it is Kaito?¨ Then Akane said, ¨The only thing we found at the crime scene that could count as a murder weapon was the speeaar...¨

COUNTER!

¨Not neccarely,¨ I shot back. ¨When Shuichi, Ryoma and I were investigating, we found a couple of pills on the ground. However, these are no ordinarily pills, I reconized them from Shuichi's lab. Before someone could misinterpret me, I clarified, that doesn't mean I think Shuichi is the culprit. I don't, this cases culprit must have stolen from him, but the pills we found was definitely the same poison. ¨Then Shuichi reminded me, ¨We also found the empty bottle somewhere else. Do you remember where Kaito?¨ I tried to rack my brain, but that's when it hit me. We found the bottle in a certain someone's empty lab. But that someone had an alibi.

Scrum Debate: What kind of poison was it? Fast acting/Slow acting

Ultimate Imposter: Wasn't it a fast acting poison?

Shuichi: we haven't confirmed that

Gonta: But she had sword in arm

Nagito: If the poison was slow-acting, she could have taken it before

Kazuichi: wouldn't she have died from the sword then?

Junko: Mukuro is an acomplished soldier, she could have taken that easily

Terruteru: but is there any proof it was slow-acting?

Mikan: S.sslow and f..ast ac..cting poison causes different scars

Hajime: But wasn't the poison taken from Shuichi's lab fast acting?

Kaito: No, Strike nine takes a long time to work

THIS IS OUR ANSWER!

After talking for a while, I realized we had all been relying to heavily that it was a fast acting poison, but Shuichi told me that even in pill form, Strike-9 takes a long time to activate. However, with the news that it was a slow-acting poison, it meant everyone's alibis were now invalid. Just because we had alibis for the time of death, didn't mean we had them when someone slipped poison into Mukuro's tea. That's when one person came to mind, the same person who had definitely had a tea party with Mukuro and one other person.

Select Someone

¨Tsumugi, can I ask you something?¨ I asked and the girl nodded. ¨You had a tea party with Mukuro and one other person right?¨ Tsumugi gasped, turning wide eyes on everyone. It's true I did, but I didn't kill Mukuro I swear! That's when we learned that Tsumugi, Mukuro, and Junko had had a tea party. That still bothered me. Not so much as Tsumugi or Junko, but Mukuro having anything to do with a tea party didn't sit right with me. People kept going back and forth on whether or not it was Tsumugi, but that's when I remembered something Shuichi had said, especially when I saw he seemed he was about to interrupt. I then explained to everyone that Shuichi told me that he locked his lab when he was not in it, and Tsumugi had not once entered his lab when he was there. Chihiro brought up that Tsumugi could of cosplayed as someone else, but I reminded her the teen couldn't cosplay as real people. That's when Shuichi admitted the only one who had entered his lab when he was in it was Mukuro herself. That made me wonder, was it possible, that she killed Mukuro?
