Two Cooks in a Kitchen (Sanji x Reader)

Sanji's Pov:

     I wasn't sure how to feel about our newest crew mate; yes, they were absolutely gorgeous...and yes, they were a good fighter. But they were also an extraordinary cook. Normally I'm glad to meet another cook, it's a challenge for me to try and win you know? I'd try to be the better cook. I can't do that with y/n though, I don't exactly know why quite yet but just something about them seems...different.

⁙⁙⁙ Flashback to two weeks ago ⁙⁙⁙

 " Sanji!!! I'm hungry what's for lunch! " Luffy shouted as he barged through the kitchen door.

 " I'm making some salad and sea king, along with f/d (favorite drink). Now, get out of my kitchen until I call you back in for lunch. " 

" Ughh but that's probably going to take forever..." Luffy pouted then looked back up at Sanji. " Before I leave Robin said she and Nami found someone in town and decided to bring them back here for the rest of the day. "

     I merely nodded in response as I was focusing on cutting up some cucumbers and tomatoes for the salad. Once the salad was finished, I made sure the sea king was cooked how each crew member preferred it. Then I quickly made some f/d and walked over to the door, I opened it and called out to everyone, " Lunch is ready! " And immediately Luffy was in front of me. After smacking Luffy for appearing out of nowhere and making me drop my fresh cigarette I stepped back into the kitchen/ dining room and watched as everyone sat down. The girls were the last ones to show up. ' Where are those beautiful beautiful ladies? ' I started fanaticizing about them until I heard a cough. I was snapped back to reality and focused on the girls. Blush immediately rushed onto my face, not because of Nami and Robin for once; but because of the amazingly attractive person next to them. They had h/l h/c hair and s/c skin that looked so soft, their e/c eyes were the things that immediately captured my attention. 

   Those eyes that they had met mine and no matter how hard I tried I couldn't look away. It was like pools of e/c quicksand that I couldn't escape. Their face slightly flushed and that's when I shook my head and cleared my throat.

" Ahem, my apologizes... it's just your- " I was cut off by Nami smacking me in the head.

" Don't you dare say anything about their body you pervert! " 

" B-but Nami-san I wasn't going to.... never mind my love. Come sit down, I do hope you enjoy lunch. " The last part was directed towards the person Nami and Robin brought. " May I ask your name?

" My name's y/n, you must me Sanji..." 

" Oh, you know my name? Well, I am quite well known for my looks and cooking skills. " 

" Actually, the girls warned me about your ' perverted nature '. " 

' Ouch- ' I thought. " W-well, that doesn't matter right now. Please sit, I'll bring the food out right now. " 

     After lunch everyone went off to do there own things again and I stayed behind to clean up the dishes. I was about to pick up the last plate off the dining table when a hand reached out and picked it up before I could. My eyes looked up to see who had grabbed it and they widen slightly when I saw y/n infront of me.

" Y-y/n is there something you need? Did you not like the food? I'm sorry if you didn't like it I can try- " 

I was cut off by them giggling then their gorgeous eyes met mine. " No, the meal was amazing. thank you by the way I hope I wasn't inconveniencing you by adding another mouth to feed. "

" Of course not! Someone as perfect as you could never be an inconvenience to me. But if I may ask, why are you still in here then? " 

" W-well, to make up for showing up I wanted to help you clean up. " they smiled and the tips of their ears flushed slightly.
