Chapter 8: Pillow Forts

Roman moves blankets and pillows until there is a comfortable for for them to watch movies in. After some time Roman finishes making the pillow fort, and Virgil goes over to him. "Can I enter your castle?" Virgil asks after putting the movie in.

"Of course, Storm Cloud!" Roman exclaimed smiling happily as Virgil blushed. Virgil smiles and lays in the pillow fort with Roman. After a while they have watched multiple Disney movies when Patton comes in the room.

"Hey, Logan had a question for Virgil." Patton says, smiling at the two in the pillow fort.

"What is it?" Virgil asked curious.

"Logan wanted to know if he could try the cure on you? But he said you'd have to be at the old bunker for a few weeks for the cure to take effect and you to not kill anyone." Patton says as he looks at the two of them. Virgil thinks for a bit before he looks at Patton.

"I'll do it, tomorrow." Virgil states and Patton nods before leaving the room.

"So I won't see you for weeks?" Roman asked, sadness evident in his voice. Virgil smiles a little.

"Afraid so, Princey. But when I'm back I'll be human again." Virgil says, smiling and Roman smiles a bit.

"Alright, Doom and Gloom, when you're back I'm showing you more musicals." Roman states, as he and Virgil grin.

"Sure, Princey. But don't start dating that girl while I'm gone."

"Don't worry I won't, she's not exactly my type." Virgil grinned as they continued watching the movie. After a few more movies the two go to the kitchen to eat. "What do you want today, V?"

"I dunno maybe chi--"

"He's going to say human meat, deary." Regina interrupts, and Roman immediately steps back. "See! You are afraid!" Roman glares at her and looks back at Virgil after he vomited onto the floor.

"Sorry about that V, did you want chicken nuggets?" Roman asks rubbing Virgil's back in a comforting manor. Patton walks in after a bit.

"Oh! Who made Virgil vomit?!" Patton asks, concerned but angry.

"Regina did." Roman says coldly as he hands Virgil the plate of chicken nuggets. Virgil smiles a little as he starts eating the food. Patton drags Regina off to another room, as Roman and Virgil continued to eat. "Sorry about what she... y'know." Roman said, avoiding the words. Virgil smiles a bit.

"You're fine Ro, thanks for standing up for me." Virgil says and Roman smiles.

"Does this mean I get to hug you?" Roman asked happily, Virgil sighs and nods. Roman hugs him and Virgil hugs him back. "I can't believe I actually get to hug you."

"Yeah well, I trust you so....I guess you can whenever." Virgil mumbled the last part, but Roman's eyes lit up as he smiles more. Virgil smiles as Roman does, after a few minutes the two stop and go back to watch their movies. When Regina walks in and leans against the door frame.

"Hey handsome~, will you go on a date with me?" She asked, trying to look cute.

"No I will not Regina, this is not the time for dates, you were rude to my friend, and I want to spend time with him instead of you." Roman states as he do closes the door and locks it. Roman sits back beside Virgil.

"If you want to you can...I don't want to stop you from doing it." Virgil says as the movie comes to an end.

"Don't worry, you're way more fun to hang out with Storm Cloud." Roman says smiling as he wraps an arm around Virgil, making him blush and smile a bit.

"Th-Thanks Ro, that means a lot." Virgil says, smiling nervously. "Thanks for making this the best day ever."

"You're welcome Panic-At-The-Everywhere. I'm just sad to see you go." Roman admits, as he and Virgil smiles at each other. Virgil crawls out of the pillow fort.

"Well...I'll, uh, see you in a few days Ro. Don't forget me, 'kay?" Virgil says before leaving the room and going to Logan. Virgil takes the cure and his bat before going back to the old bunker.

"How could I ever, possibly forget a beauty like yours, Virgil?"
