Chapter 10: The End

Virgil slowly opened his eyes as he was in the arms of someone, when he looked up he blushed a bit seeing Roman carrying him. "Roman?" Roman's eyes lit up as he let Virgil stand before holding him close as he cried as he smiled. He holds Virgil close as Roman lifts him a bit before spinning himself and Virgil. After Roman stops spinning himself and Virgil, he looks into his eyes and kisses him. Virgil's eyes widen before closing and he kisses back. Virgil and Roman smile when they break for air, looking into each other's eyes. "Don't you have a question for me, Princey?"

Roman smiles more at him as he kisses his cheek, "Will you be my boyfriend, Virgil?" Roman asks as he holds Virgil close to him. Virgil looks up at him and smiles.

"Of course I will, Roman." Virgil says as he smiles, and Roman smiles as they walk back to the bunker. When they get back everyone hugs Virgil, who quickly moves behind Roman. Roman takes Virgil's hand and they go to Roman's room to watch Heathers as Roman said they would. While the two watch the musical, Patton and Logan cuddle on the couch as they watch cartoons with Remy and Emile. Remus grabs Janus' hand and pulls him outside the bunker.

"There's a blimp, Snakey! We can use it to make people human again!!" Remus says as he pulls Janus to where it is with little to no care for safety or defense.

"And you aren't allowed to crash it, Rem." Janus says as he hooks the cure to the blimp.

"Fiiine, take all the fun out of things why don't cha." Remus states as he starts to fly it. After a while they released the cure onto the whole city. "Well that took a couple hours." He sighs laying back in the chair once they land.

"And we can't leave the bunker for a week." Janus sighs, "plus the scientists need to call the companies and tell them the crisis has stopped and food and stuff needs to be shipped in again."

"I think the scientists shouldn't ever be allowed back here...I think we should demolish their building too." Remus says as they walk back inside.

"Yeah, that'd be good. Plus you need to give me and El the cure." Janus states and Remus nods.

A few months later.

Everything has gone back to normal, the groceries were stocked up again, people were people, everything was how it was before. Aside from the murder that happened in an abandoned cottage, but it was dropped after the first month. Virgil and Roman were in college and still dating, Logan had proposed to Patton, Remy and Emile were working at a coffee shop, and Remus was working at an animal shelter with Janus.

Virgil walked in to Roman and his shared apartment, and laid down on the bed. After a few minutes the door opens again and Roman spoons him. "Sweet dreams, Storm Cloud," Roman says affectionately, kissing the top of his head.

"Sweet dreams, Dearest," Virgil said smiling as he held the arms wrapped around his waist before both of the fell asleep.
