JUNGKOOK POV

"It's almost time to fly home."

My heart sank at those words.

"I know."

I'd been having so much fun
here It was like being in
another world.

A world where someone like Jimin really wanted someone
like me, I was terrified it would not last once we got back to
the real world.

He was going to discover what a geek I was and that would be it.

He'd dump me for Guk or some one like him, someone more fun.

It could happen.

"Maybe we could stay here."

Jimin's eyebrows rose as he leaned forward in his seat and rested his elbows on the
veranda table.

"Is that what you want?"

"No, I guess not."

I did miss my work and the people I worked with.

"I just...I don't know what's going to happen when we go back to the real world."

"Well, maybe we should
make a plan."

"A plan?"

"Sure plans are good, They
give you a path to follow even
if you step to one side or the other on occasion."

"They give you goals to
shoot for."

"I like plans." I was actually
fully in favor of them.

Part of that whole geek thing.

"So, how about this for a
plan." Jimin started.

"We fly home the day after tomorrow, back to New York."

"We stay there long enough to find a place big enough for the both of us to live in and then we fly out to Seoul so I can arrange to close down my practice and arrange movers for my stuff?"

That actually sounded like a fantastic plan.

"Did you talk to Jin about working at his company?"

"I did." Jimin grinned.

"I'm getting a corner office right down the hallway from Tae."

"Jin has given me a month to
get my practice closed down
and get everything moved to New York so there should be plenty of time before I have
to report to work."

"Yeah?" I started to smile.

"Are you excited?"

"I am actually."

"I can't wait to sign that NDA so I can finally find out what my husband does for a living."

I laughed at the disgruntled look on Jimin's face.

"I'll tell you just as soon as
Jin gives me the go ahead."

"I promise."

I hated keeping it from him but
I understood the importance of keeping my mouth closed when
it came to my work.

I worked on a lot of sensitive projects, Sharing that information without permission could get me put behind bars.

"Are there any souvenirs you want to pick up before we
head home?"

I shook my head.

"I already picked up the
things I wanted to pick up."

There weren't that many people in my life to buy gifts for.
