JIMIN POV

"I can't believe we're in Milan."

I smiled at the wonder in Jungkook's voice.

Even if we were staying at
Jin's villa, I was glad I was
able to give this to him.

I had an overwhelming desire
to give him the world.

He deserved it.

Over the last week, Jungkook had opened up and talked a little more about his life growing up.

I knew how horrible it had
been for him.

Nothing had ever been given to Jungkook, not even the love and caring that should have naturally come to him simply because
he was part of a family.

I wanted to give that to him.

I wanted him to assume that he was part of a loving family on general principle, not wish for something he had never received.

I wanted to shower him with
so much love and affection
that he couldn't remember a time when he didn't have it.

Yeah, yeah, I know.

We had been married for like a week and we only got married because his parents and brother were insane but that didn't mean I didn't want the best for him.

"Tae called earlier and I
think, I have a lead on an
apartment for us."

Jungkook turned from the window and glanced at me.

"Oh yeah? Where?"

"Well, Jin and Tae both have apartments in a building
next to Central Park."

"Tae called right before I joined you in the shower to let me
know an apartment in his building just opened up."

"He put in a word with the owners and if we're
interested, they'll sell it to us."

Jungkook's eyes rounded.

"An apartment at Central
Park?"

"Yeah."

"The owners haven't put it on
the market yet so no one
knows it's for sale yet."

"What do you think?"

"Central Park property is
pretty spendy, Jimin."

"I think we can afford it,
Jungkook."

We hadn't really discussed finances but I had a thriving
law practice that I was on the verge of selling, not to mention my condo in Seoul.

I also had a sizeable bank account.

I had no idea how much money Jungkook made as a bio engineer but I was pretty sure we'd have more than enough money to buy the apartment if we wanted it.

"You want me to ask Tae to set up an appointment to see the place when we get back to
New York?"

Jungkook frowned.

"How do you feel about it?"

"I think it's a good opportunity."

"It's a large apartment."

"It has three bedrooms and a balcony overlooking Central Park, which I knew from visiting Tae and hobi is a very nice view."

"It'll also be close to work
for both of us."

"Even if we decide to move
some where else, it's a good investment."

"Is this something you want
to do?" Jungkook asked.
