JUNGKOOK POV

"Well, this should be interesting."

I glanced at Jin as he hung up his phone. "What?"

He nodded toward his phone.

"That was security in the lobby."

"It seems one of Jung's men
is here to speak to me."

"What?" Jimin snapped.

"Are you serious?"

Jin's eyes widened.

"Oh, yes."

"Why would Jung be sending someone here to talk to
you?" Jimin asked.

"I don't know but I guess
we're about to find out."

Jin nodded to the two chairs
by the window.

"Why don't you two go sit
over there?"

We quickly got up and moved.

I had no desire to sit next to a mobster or even a mobster's thug but a thug was not who walked through the door a
few minutes later.

This guy was dressed in a
much nicer suit than Jin's.

His hair was combed back in
an artful style.

He lifted an eyebrow when he stepped into the office and
saw all the muscle we had.

Fred stood with Jin and Joon, Kato stood next to me and
Jimin and two other guards
stood right inside the door.

"Good afternoon." he said as
he casually strolled over to
stand in front of Jin's desk.

I had to give it to the man,
he was very self-confident.

He didn't seem bothered by
all the extra security at all.

"I'm Jung Kai."

"I'm here on behalf of my grandfather, Jung Min."

Jin's eyebrows lifted.

"Your grandfather?"

"Yes."

Jin stared for one very long,
very intense moment and then gestured to one of the chairs
we had just been sitting in.

"Please have a seat Mr. Jung
and let me know why you are here."

"Thank you."

He was polite.

Once Kai had sat down, he crossed one leg over the other and then folded his hands together and rested them in his lap in clear view of everyone.

I got the feeling he'd played
this game before.

"My grandfather asked me to come see you concerning the agreement you have with him."

"I won't end the agreement."

"No, no, that's not what this is about. He wanted me to impress upon you that he has not broken that agreement, which is why
he has sent me in his stead but some things have come to light that he felt might violate your agreement and he wanted me
to assure you that he had no
part in it."

Jin's eyes narrowed.

"What things?"

Kai's eyes darted over to me, making me wish I had an entire body made of a bulletproof
vest and not just the vest.

"My understanding was that someone attacked Mr. Jeon earlier today."

"Park." I said before I could
stop myself.
