The cemetery gates opened with a loud creaking sound. "This is where my mother is buried."

"Looks like a dump."

"Yeah, it does. That's why I'm cleaning and restoring it." I looked up at the sky. "It's obvious people've forgotten this place, including their loved ones. So, I vowed I would never let anyone forget about them ever again."

"Hm. Seems like something you'd do."

"I have to get to work now. I'll see you around, Dabi." I waved as he walked away.

"Thanks for breakfast."

I picked up the gloves and prepared a bag. "Go lay down or keep watch just stay at the edges of the fence." My dogs walked around me and along the fence line.

Plastic silverware and empty soda cans still littered the cemetery. I was going to do this grave by grave. The leaves from the trees above seemed to be whispering to me and a gentle breeze blew around me. I cut the grass with garden shears, redefining the grave from the grass path. This grave belonged to someone named Uta. "I am sorry that you were forgotten, Uta." I picked up one of the stone brushes. "And you have seen better days. I should go pick up some new supplies. I need to throw away these bags anyway." The way there was quiet, I kept my head down and my hood over my head.

-Time Skip-

I set my new supplies down and sat. "This has been a lot of work, but I'm proud of what I've done." My gloves were off and I was taking a drink of water, to wash down my sandwich and chips. My garbage went into the big trash bag I had and the supplies I bought were still in their bags. "I think it's about time I call it a day." The clock on my phone read 5:45 PM. "Yep. Let's go, fluff balls." I left the cemetery, shutting the gate behind me. "I'm kind of glad I didn't have to intern." I smiled. "It gives me more time to spend restoring the cemetery. And, speaking of, I wonder what that cemetery's name is."

"What cemetery?" I jumped, more than startled.

"Uncle Shota? What are doing out here?"

"Waiting for you to get home. What cemetery were you talking about?" He raised a brow at me with crossed arms.

"A new book series I'm reading. It's about a haunted house built on top of a huge ancient cemetery."

"Oh. Alright. Dinner's on the table and you have a guest."
