I cleaned my room, and the living room, while I anxiously waited for responses. "Why am I so nervous? I already know they have--" *Bzzt bzzt* "Gonna pretend I didn't hear it." I kept cleaning and that was when Uncle Shota walked in.

"You're cleaning? Have they not responded?" *Bzzt bzzt* (Can't pretend I didn't hear that one.)

"Haha! It's not them, it's Dad! And, it was a butt text." I read the other notification. It was from Kirishima saying he couldn't come.

"Like I said Kirishima's busy, but no response from Bakugo. I have to get up early tomorrow, goodnight."

I sat under the shade of one of the trees in the cemetery, wiping my face with a handkerchief. "Beast girl? What are you doing?"

"Bakugo! You scared me! This cemetery was forgotten about, but also happens to be where my mother's buried. So I'm restoring it." I stood up and rubbed my hands on my pants. "I don't know why this place was abandoned, but I do know, that I won't let anyone forget about it ever again."

"Give me a pair of those gloves." I tilted my head, but did as told and he entered the cemetery. "Don't just gawk at me."

Sitting back down, I took the hedge shears and started cutting the grass around another headstone. "So young." With enough grass cleared away, I grabbed the dusting brush. Then gently swept away any dirt, grass clippings, and bird droppings from the stone. "I'm sorry you were forgotten, little Daisuke."

"What?" Bakugo stood up straight and looked at me, confused. "Who the hell is Daisuke?"

"The person buried here. It was obvious no one had been here in many years, so I read the name on every stone and tell them I'm sorry."

"How many of these have you done?" He went back to picking up trash.

"I keep losing track, but last I remember it was 150."

"You're something else." I looked over at him, but he looked different. In his hero costume and his school uniform, he's so scary and angry. But here in shorts and a tank top, he looked calm and kind.

"I really appreciate the help, Bakugo." I smiled at him, but he turned away. "Anyway, I'll just take these and get out of your way. You're probably really busy."

"Did you mean to invite me to breakfast?" The blonde had reached out and caught my wrist before I could move any further away.

"Oh course I did. I've been meaning to ask if you wanted to hangout for a while now. It's just whenever I worked up the nerve, you'd get angry at something and I'd chicken out again." I turned my head away and looked at the ground. "But yesterday, Uncle Shota helped me out. I realized that I didn't have to ask face to face. I apologize if I'm being annoying." Bakugo released my wrist and I rushed off, pretty damn quickly for a girl carrying four contractor bags. Some full of trash and others full of cleaning supplies.
