~Kita~
The breeze felt good on my skin. The sky was clear and the stars were beginning to show. I loved moments like these, alone under the summer night sky with a breeze. It made me happy, not as happy as rain did, but happy nonetheless. The back door slid open and closed. I just assumed it was Mitsuki, so I stayed quiet, until something was thrown at me. "Hey, beast girl. I'm uh, sorry, 'bout before."I kept my back to him. "Why apologize? It's your home, you should have a say in who comes over. Especially if said someone is a classmate you aren't that close with." If I wasn't careful, my hurt would show in my voice.
"Knock it off and don't play dumb with me. I hurt your feelings and I'm trying to apologize. But if you're going to be like this, then whatever, beast girl."
"Do you even remember my name?" I took off my beanie and let the breeze blow around my stray strands of hair. "Without having to ask someone or ask if you're right?"
"Huh?"
I stood and walked up in front of him. "Do you remember my name, Bakugo?" He froze and just looked at my face. "I didn't think so." Scoffing, I turned to sit back down, but he grabbed my arm.
"Have your eyes always been this way?"
"What way?"
"Your left eye is green and your right eye is blue." He gently touched my face.
"Yes, they've always been that way. My mother had green eyes and my father has blue. Genetics weren't able to decide who's eye colour I should have." I was very aware of the blonde's warm hand on my face. "So ta-da, one green and one blue." I couldn't decide how to feel about what was happening. (Should I get mad that he ignored my question? Or let him continue and see what happens?)
"I never noticed before." Bakugo's other hand released my arm and grabbed my hand instead.
"Bakugo?" I placed my free hand over his hand on my face.
"You are Yagi Kita, daughter of Yagi Toshinori and Yagi Miya. Daughter of the symbol of peace and the summoning hero."
I was pleasantly surprised. "You really remembered." A smile crossed my face.
He smirked. "Of course I did. Who do you take me for?" (A boy who never ceases to amaze me.)
