"He's out cold... Right?" Broccoli, Ida, and Todoroki stayed battle poised.
I grabbed my bat and stood up. *Thud* "He's out cold."
"Yagi! You can't just hit people to see if they're unconscious!"
*Thud* "Oops. We should probably tie him up and take away his blades though."
"She's right. Do you think there's any rope around?" Barking got our attention and Renegade came trotting over with some rope.
"Well done, Ren!"
-Time Skip-
"Why're you here?!" Broccoli and I looked in the direction of the voice.
"Gramps!" "Gran Torino!!"
"I told you t'stay in your seat!!" Gramps kicked broccoli in the face. "I don't know what happened here, but... glad to see you're still alive."
"Is this the alley that he mentioned?"
"We got a backup request from Endeavor, but kids?!"
"They're badly hurt! Call an ambulance!"
I began to back away into the shadows, when Ida bowed. "Because of me, you three were injured. I am so terribly sorry... I was blind... I lost sight of everything...!" Ida's usually composed manner was gone and his cracking voice made me want to cry.
"Ida, I'm sorry!" I don't know why, but I ran and hugged him.
"A girl?!"
"Get it together. You're class president aren't you?"
"GET DOWN!!" Gramps shouted and I noticed a Nomu flying straight for us.
"BROCCOLI MOVE!!" I pushed the green haired boy out of the way, and the creature snatched up my body. My dogs barked as I screamed.
"Yagi!!" After a moments hesitation, he jumped for me. But someone else was a little faster.
"Both this sham-filled society ...and the criminals who wield their power in the name of petty mischief..." Once my rescuer landed back on the ground I was given gently to broccoli. "...Are targets of my purge..." (Something's wrong, he's not breathing right.) "All... for the sake... ...of a better society..."
After a moment or two, I finally came to my senses and started hitting broccoli, like a cat that doesn't want to be held. "Let go of me, idiot! You're my dad's pride and joy, not mine!"
"The hero killer!" Endeavor came around the corner seeming to be looking for something.
"Todoroki, wait!!"
"You fake..." Stain unsteadily began walking toward the others. "If I don't fix it... If someone isn't... stained with blood...! If I don't reclaim my hero status...!!" Even Endeavor was taking weary steps backward. "Come! Just try me... you fakes! The only one allowed to kill me is..." I wanted nothing more at that moment to scream for my dad. "...All Might, a true hero!!"
"He's... ...out cold."
"Should we have Yagi test it?"
"What the hell, Todoroki?! He might be the hero killer, but he just saved my life! No one else will be hitting him tonight."
"Y-Yagi! Where is your shirt?!" I deadpanned at Ida.
"I used it as bandaging for Nevada and as a clot for Native. And you, remember?"
