~Kita~
*Knock knock*"Kita?"
"Hitoshi! Why are you here?" I smiled at him.
"Well, last night I was sleeping and after a while I realized you weren't there. I thought maybe you were in the bathroom or something, so I turned on the tv and waited for you to be done. Then there you were, on the news being grabbed by a weird flying monster, and the hero killer saved you." He sat in a chair next to my bed and rested his head against the bed. "I couldn't sleep after that."
"I'm sorry, Hitoshi." I slowly reached my hand out to touch his hair, but pulled away at the last second. "How mad is Uncle Shota?"
"Pissed, but I'm tired." I reached out again and touched his hair.
"Okay. Rest for a bit and when we get home you can go back to sleep."
-Time Skip-
"Kita! What were you thinking?! Going to Hosu in the middle of the night to fight the hero killer?!" I had just entered the house, Hitoshi supporting me.
"I'm sorry, Uncle Shota. I know what I did was bad, but I'm alive. Aren't I?" Hitoshi let me go and my uncle threw his arms around me, squeezing tightly.
"Yes. You are alive. Where's Nevada?" I returned home with only two out of three dogs.
"She's at the vet. Stain got her across the face. They said they'll have to keep her there for a while because she keeps slipping from the cone and ripping off the bandages."
"I'm sure she's going to be okay." Uncle Shota held me to him and kissed the top of my head. "Are you hungry?"
"A little, but I'm more tired than anything really." I looked over at the couch and Hitoshi helped me over. "I love this couch." The indigo haired boy laid down and made room for me. Holding the blanket up until I was comfortable, he then wrapped it tightly around the both of us.
"Thank you, Hio." I was lulled to sleep by the feeling of his warmth and sound of his steady heartbeat.
