"You got some explaining to do. You allowed me to catch you by yourself for the first time in six months. I should fucking kill your fucking ass! My son... my son brought you here because you were family. Family doesn't do what you did." Adele spoke as Tobias tried his best to sneak by the woman. He knew he would have to face the music one way or another, but he was trying to buy himself some time.
"I didn't intend on sleeping with my cousin's wife...."
"When did it start, and don't you fucking lie to me, Tobias! Or so help me, God, I will murder your black ass where you stand!" Adele yelled, causing the man to jump. She could be scary sometimes, and Bias thought no one scared him the way his mother did.
"The gala...."
"Which fucking gala?"
"When we first met. She was upset about something, and... she walked into one of the rooms I was hiding in to catch a breath. Ri started complaining about Xerxes and said she needed something to make her feel good. One thing led to another." He said as Adele glared at him. Tobias stepped back because it looked like the woman was about to kill him.
"What about you sleeping with Sasha? What was that, a fucking cover-up? Did you use that poor girl?!"
"No! I told Riley it could never happen again, that she was a married woman and X was my cousin, and she seemed to have agreed. Then she came to me one night with fucking bruises all over her face, neck, arms, and chest saying Xerxes and beat her...."
"Wait a fucking minute, my son, never... listen to me when I say this. NEVER BEAT THAT LITTLE UNGRATEFUL BITCH! Riley played you if this was the day I think you are talking about. She was doing a photo shoot and had to look beaten and defeated. I know this because it was for Jeremias's gym ad for his boxing club for women. It was damn make-up, and she used it to get you back in bed. You're a fucking idiot! I knew I shouldn't have trusted any of that man's family, but I can't hate you. When I told you to find someone to love you and stop holding on to the past, thinking you would be like your mother. I didn't mean with my daughter-in-law. You are a weak man, Tobias, allowing a woman younger than you out smart you. Still, this is on you not stopping this when you knew it was wrong and seeing what it was doing to her family. A real man would have to own up to his mistake, stop what he was doing and tell her to do the right thing. You let Riley control you. Do you know what she is doing now?"
Tobias stared at Adele as he slowly shook his head. He knew his wife was up to something, but he couldn't figure out what it was. She would always leave early and come back home late. Or she was always talking shit about Amoy and Xerxes, which was none of her business.
"She is trying her best to get her ex-husband back. My son is in a coma, and she's fighting with his pregnant girlfriend. Threatening the woman, saying she was going to kill her if not that, telling her when he wakes, all she has to do is snap her fingers, and he will be right back by her side. Riley is sick, and this is a game to her, and it doesn't help that you encourage her. You helped her kidnap my grandson, you allowed yourself to be seen by my granddaughter, and you fucked her in my son's home, and hope not in his bed. I don't hate you, but you have lost all my respect for you. You can leave now, but before you do, get your wife out of the room with my son. Let her know he's no longer her responsibility." She said before walking away.
