"Where have you been?" Shanice asked as Xavier walked back into the room early that morning. It was about 5:15, and she was coming from the bathroom in nothing but a towel. Zay smiled as he walked up to her, kissing her on the lips before kissing the tip of her nose and then her forehead causing the girl to relax in his arms.
"On a run. I needed to clear my head. I left out to sit on the beach, but I ended up jogging if Rajesh, one of his crazy-ass little cousins, as he asked me a million questions about Eva. I think he's looking to get murdered... but how are you feeling?"
"Like I've beaten." She laughed dryly ask he helped her back to the bed. "And like something is missing." She sighed. "My head is killing me. I still have that terrible ringing in my ear; everything is blurry, and my stomach is cramping worse than it does when my period is on... you're upset with me, aren't you. I used you just like they did. I didn't know, and then I lost our baby. I'm sorry. I understand if you don't want...."
Quickly Xavier cut the girl off with a kiss and pulled her over to him in a tight hug. Shy let out a deep breath as he kissed her all over her face before settling with a slow passionate one while sliding his tongue between her lips, showing her how much he loved her before pulling away. "You think I'm going to let you go because of some stupid shit your parents' did? You were the one they lied to Shy... used and stole. What they did had nothing to do with you, baby. Sergio will pay for what he did. I don't care what the man thought was right. He should have faulted the one that did him wrong, not use you when he knew you were innocent."
"Marcus... My own brother. Well, at least I thought he was my brother just stood there and watched that man hurt me. I tried to kill myself for him. I hurt, cried, and searched for answers for months after I thought he had died. What did they bury? Was it an empty casket or someone who doesn't know their family member is dead? What hurt me the most was hearing I wasn't their child. I can understand if I was adopted, but I wasn't... I need to talk to her." She spoke as Xavier pulled her back for a moment. He didn't think it was a good idea because he wanted to kill the woman, but Shy needed to know the truth. Quickly he pulled his phone from his pocket and texted Elias to bring Noemi to Rajesh's mansion before taking her to the airport.
"I'm doing this because I love you after she is gone or I kill her. I don't trust her." He spoke, kissing her one more time before placing Shy on the bed so he could go shower, but the girl followed him. His wife was hurting, which caused him to. It was a weird feeling because the only other time Xavier ever felt like this was when his sister felt down. He knew twins' emotions were tied together and sometimes siblings because theirs feel their pain sometimes, but he didn't think it was possible with something like this. At this moment, Xavier knew this woman was his weakness, but he didn't care because he loved her.
"I messed up Xylia's reception...."
"You didn't mess up shit. They did, and I had to make my crazy ass sister enjoy her wedding night. Xylia came over here trying to kick me out of the room, talking about how she was staying with you for the night. Ark had to carry her out." He laughed, watching as she touched her belly. "We can try again later, baby. I know it feels like it was your fault, but it wasn't." He said, stepping out of the shower as Shanice smiled and nodded.
"I would love that. It's messed up. Xy and I were days apart. Our babies were supposed to be like twins. The funny thing was we were joking about one of us being pregnant, but it turned out that both of us were, and Ava thought it was funny. I also think Yejide felt left out; anyhow, we had to beg Faith not to put it in our charts because we wanted to surprise you. Xylia was told on by an old lady. Barkley's grandmother then said Elias noticed by the way she was acting. I was able to hide mine, although I thought you would see it soon because of how you were eating. Mister, I don't eat junk food was always somewhere eating it." She smiled, making Xavier think back to when Elias asked him if Shanice was pregnant again. Xavier laughed as his crazy cousin started to bang on the door; luckily, he had just finished putting on his clothes as he helped Shy back to the bed and opened the door to find Xylia, Barkley, Elias, and Yejide standing at the door with Noemi.
