"Yuh, bumbacolts be fucking cheating! There a reason Mi don't like making bets with yuh!" Barkley said while handing King two thousand dollars while he laughed. "Next time, it won't be any of that." King laughed again, counting the money as the rest shook their heads.

"When are you going to learn? King never misses... anyways, how did you know the Haitian would be here?"

"Yuh think Mi that dumb? Mi still has connections, and some of Pierre's men are still loyal to mi. For now, let's say a little birdy told mi. Mi can't tell yuh who my inside person is just yet. Mi don't want his life to be in danger. We need to look at the bigger picture Zay. This bumbacolt is coming after, yuh now. He knows about Xylia and my union, and if he harms my Empress or one of my children...."

"That will never happen. It-it's not going to be like it was back in Trinidad...."

"Xavier, that wasn't yuh fault, mon. Noemi was fucking using Shanice, her, and her no gud dead husband. To steal a child and do what they did... she deserved more than death. She knew Sergio would come for Shy, but the bitch said nothing. The only thing that wretch was hoping for was to be long out of sight before he came a knocking. Now we have two problems on our hands. Haitian and The Cartel once they get those fucking bodies."

"Ziggy's right, but before we go into anything else... We need to clear the air. You two have been distant. Nigga we're family, so whatever you need to say to each other needs to be said now before it gets one of you killed." Elias spoke, making Ziggy and Barkley look at each other. Xavier had the same thing on his mind, but his cousin beat him to the punch.

"Mi thought we were talking about Xavier and this bullshit. Zig and Mi are gud...."

"Bullshit! The two of you were just fucking arguing about fucking nothing. Ark, we have known you two for a little over two years now. You and Zig never argue over stupid shit. FIX IT NOW! When he is the only blood you have left that you truly know... I couldn't begin to think how that would leave me. We're a big family and can barely handle losing one of us. I understand why you are angry, Zig. I would be, too, if my cousin lied about killing my father... but your father killed his father. At the time, it hurt because it was the only person he had if the tables were turned. What would you have done?" Xavier asked as Ziggy glared at Barkley, sighing.

"Mi understand what you are saying, Zay. Mi would've killed him too. I'm angry because Ark fucking lied. He knows mi... he bumbacolt knows mi, and he lied. Ya mon, yuh say yuh know mi. If that were true, why yuh lie?"

Everybody in the van turned to Barkley as he combed his fingers through his beard and sighed. "Mi lied because Mi didn't know what else to do. Yuh was upset and ready to kill the person that was responsible. Fuck, Zig Mi was sixteen and had just killed my uncle. Mi was shaken up and didn't want my big cousin to be upset with mi." He spoke as Ziggy shook his head.

"Yuh, more like my little big brother. Yuh, tall as shit... a fucking giant." Ziggy laughed. "But Mi could never be mad at a decision that Mi would have made if it was the other way around. Our fathers were corrupted, and it seemed my father was working with the enemy as yours was working against everyone else. Fuck 'em all. We hav to keep moving and hav all the family we need right here." He said, pointing at them.

"Umm, that wasn't that hard, was it? Elias, maybe you should have been a therapist...."

"And listen to crazy people ramble about their problems. I think not, Opa. I have had enough of listening to my dad talking about himself in the third person. His crazy is enough for me." Elias spoke as Xerxes laughed. Yes, this was his first mission, and none of them agreed for him to come on but the man came anyway and did better than some of them, which didn't surprise Xavier.
