Your POV
After I had familiarized myself with this planet's history and layout, I landed my TARDIS in the dorm room and made my way to Ozpin's office. When I got there, he looked at me and said, "Ah, Nightingale. You're back. And your outfit looks identical to the one you were wearing when I first met you." I nodded and said, "Well, Ozpin, I've got a question for you. It turns out that my TARDIS has some damages that I'd need my brother to help me fix. But I can't contact him because that feature is also damaged. That being said, my TARDIS can still capable of time travel and travel anywhere on this planet, but the engines are too damaged for outer planetary travel. So my question is this: would you mind if I stayed at Beacon under the guise of a student, preferably a second year?"
Ozpin smiled and said, "Of course you can. And no, you don't have to wear the uniform." I smiled and said, "Awesome. Hmm, never said that before, but it feels right. Anyways, I'm going use the TARDIS to skip to the first day of the semester if you don't mind." Ozpin nodded with a slight smirk and said, "I don't mind at all." Despite the fact that it seemed like he knew something that he wasn't telling me, I decided to play it safe, especially since I could practically hear River's voice in my head saying, "Spoilers."
I made my way back to my dorm room and entered the TARDIS. I flipped the proper switches and levers on the console and the TARDIS took off. As I was flying through the Time Vortex, I grabbed the blueprints for the Sonic Screwdriver upgrade. I noticed that one of the components that I needed was a small piece of Oolion. Oolion wasn't something that could be found outside of the planets of Bandraginus 5 or Qualactin. But seeing as my TARDIS was currently unable to leave the planet of Remnant, obtaining said Oolion would be impossible. Luckily the TARDIS had a mineral and material fabricator that I could use to get the Oolion, but due to the complexity of the mineral, I couldn't travel through the Time Vortex while the fabrication was happening.
I sighed as I flipped the Time Rotor Handbrake to land the TARDIS. Once the TARDIS had landed, I started the fabrication process on the Oolion. I opened the doors to reveal that I had also landed in a more secluded area of Vale. I groaned to myself as I realized that Ozpin knew that I was going to be here by accident. I decided that it couldn't hurt to potentially send a hypercube to my brother to relay a message to him since the Space Time Telegraph was still broken. I went back inside the TARDIS, and started to venture through the endless corridors of the TARDIS until I finally came across the room I was looking for.
In that room, there was a table with a couple unused hypercubes on it. I sat down and picked up one of the hypercubes. As I held it in my hand, I began to store my message into it mentally as I said it aloud, "This is The Nightingale. Hopefully this reaches my brother, the Doctor. I'm currently on a planet called Remnant, located in the Oum System. It's very similar to Earth, but with a couple differences that are very interesting. My TARDIS crashed here and the engines are too damaged for outer planetary travel, so I can only travel anywhere in time and space on this planet. The Space Time Telegraph is also broken. Not sure when this will reach you, but don't rush here, I'm fine with staying here for a while and helping wherever I can." I mentally added the planet's coordinates and carried the cube back to the main console room, where I set it on the console. Then I exited the TARDIS once again and headed in the direction of Beacon Academy.
Once I got there, I was stopped by Glynda who seemed to notice me as she said, "Excuse me, but students are supposed to be in class. So may I ask what you're doing out of class? Not to mention that you're not in uniform." Confused, I raised an eyebrow and said, "Glynda, it's me. Ozpin said that I didn't have to wear a uniform nor that I'd need to attend all of my classes." She looked at me doubtful and said, "I don't think so. And according to my records, you're not a registered student." She then grabbed me by the wrist and said, "You're coming with me to the headmaster." I let out a sigh of relief and said, "Thank you. Hopefully Oz will help me clear up this confusion." Glynda scoffed and said, "For your sake, young man, you'd better hope so."
