Chapter 2: Back to School

The atmosphere felt awkward and a bit intense since they just left their family. Fred suddenly brought out something strange and Rose was looking at him so suddenly "Fred!! I told you to leave it at the burrow!!" and said, "Look at this!" The two boys looked and saw a pygmy puff. It was asleep and was bright red. The Potter boys were amazed, and James poked it and when it woke up, it started running around then Rose looked at him, furiously "Fred!! Put Him Back!!!" But he didn't listen, so they all started playing with it until Esau Riddle picked the red pygmy puff up and cared for it a while until he gave it back to Rose Weasley. As Esau came back, he suddenly bumped someone, as he looked back, he checked his pockets, but nothing was stolen and went back. As he came inside, he saw Willow was reading her book that her mother gave to her on her last birthday while Selene was talking to her cousin, Deuteronomy Riddle. He just sat down and slept. As Willow finished a chapter, she heard someone "Anything from the trolley, dear?" and she saw so many kinds of candy and she got the sugar quills. Esau was drawing in his sketchbook and Selene ate her cauldron cake while talking to Willow and Deuteronomy who was reading History of Wizardkind. When Willow was eating her sugar quills, she started to remember her mother since she would be alone all by herself and started to miss her house and her house elf, Bubby. But remembered all the stories her mother told her of Hogwarts. She suddenly felt a slight tap on her shoulder, and she almost let out a scream and stood in a weird position. It was only Esau just wanting to tell her that the train stopped, and they had to get out of the train and she was ok after the explanation. After arriving at Hogwarts, the 1st years went on a boat and were ready to get sorted. As Willow went out of the train, she had seen Albus with Scorpion Malfoy and she was surprised about how they relate to everything and was happy to see it. They were going to the boats and saw a giant old man in front of them with a younger giant and Rose thought who he was and remembered that he Was Hagrid and his son. Hagrid greeted all of the first years and saw James and Albus "Oh my, yeh look so much like yeh father, James and you, Albus have your mother's eyes" it confused Albus, but he didn't mind it. Hagrid saw so many children that reminded him of so many children and introduced his son "This is my son Atlas" and he was a bit awkward about his height, but everyone didn't mind and gave them high-fives and they crossed the lake and went inside to the great hall. The Sorting Hat started singing and he called De Lav. She was nervous and she went straight to the hat and sat down. The hat said "hmm...Loyal..Carefree..Kind..HUFFLEPUFF" and she was ok with it. Selene Riddle was next to be called and She got panicky and nervous about the sorting ceremony. "Hmm. Social butterfly. Very bubbly. An Exchange student from the Philippines just like your mother, eh? I know! Hufflepuff!" said the Sorting Hat and the Hufflepuffs cheered for Selene, and she met them. Next was Esau Riddle. The Sorting Hat cleared its throat "Hmm... Introverted I see. But also creative, intellectual, and Right-Brained. Another exchange student from the Philippines just like your mother!" and it burst out "Ravenclaw!" The Ravenclaws cheered for Esau Riddle, and he met them. Next was Deuteronomy Riddle. The Sorting Hat cleared its throat "Hmm, a bookworm I see." Then it burst out "Ravenclaw it is!" The Ravenclaws cheered for him. All went on to the first-year students and then they all ate and went to their houses.
