Chapter 15: A Foreshadowing Letter

It was Valentines' Day and the whole school was decorated with red and pink hearts, flowers, candy, and other Valentine Decorations. House Elves and Goblins dressed up as Cupid angels. At the Great Hall, the Houses were enjoying their Valentine gifts. In the Slytherin table, Scorpion wrote a Valentine letter to Rose Weasley. Before he could finish it, Albus almost caught him "Who Valentine are you writing to?" "I don't know," Scorpion lied. Albus whined "Please don't tell me that it's my cousin!" but Scorpion ran away. As Albus was walking, he saw a lot of people confessing to their crushes, lots of people who were snogging each other, and some who cried maybe from rejection. There were so many owls as he passed by the corridor carrying letters to a certain person. He saw a lot of people asking Willow and she tried to hide behind Albus but there was always another person who was ready to confess, and she ran away. He saw Esau reading by the wall and walked to him "Hey Esau, got letters or chocolates?" "A few" but as he showed them it looked a lot and was about to get the chocolate until Esau slapped his hand "Ouch! What was that for!?" "You don't want to be hypnotized, do you?" until someone came up to Albus and said "Hi. My name is Vera Briggs, and someone asked me to give you this" She gave a black envelope which was not the main color of Valentine's Day, but he said "Thanks". After she left, Albus got excited, and Esau got curious since he had the same black envelope and saw Willow had it too before she ran. He opened it and the letter said, "I know what you are doing and stop it now." He was shocked that it was a person who just hated him, but he saw Esau's face and got the same kind of letter too, but Albus told him "It's just a weird person, don't mind it." As time continued to come by, a lot of chocolates and letters came and almost filled the entire place. There was going to be another feast before the day ended and he ate a lot of food and saw Scorpion blushing too much and Albus tapped his shoulder and he fidgeted until he saw his face and calmed down. "Albus! It's you! Did your cousin read my letter?" "So, I was right." "Answer the question!" "She told me that she threw them all into the fire." After Scorpion heard it, he cried but it was ok with Albus since he knew that it would pass. After dinner, he left early and was about to go to his common room until he felt a strange presence unlike before. He looked left and right but tried to keep on walking and got his wand out until he looked to his right the black figure was back and pushed in the wall and then shouted "Stupefy!!" but it did not affect it and transformed into a girl. He never saw that before when the girl's hair was shining within the moonlight and he pointed at her asking "Who are you?" as she turned, he was terrified, there was no face but her face was blocked by black smoke and made a sudden attack on him and he ran back to the great hall, but his legs were starting to get slower that the Obscurial was going to catch up until the door opened that the Obscurial disappeared into thin air. He was lying down on the floor shaking and he felt a hand on his back and that hand was his cousin, Hugo and he asked, "Are you alright, Albus?" as Albus looked up to see his cousin's face, he hugged him and one of the professors started to go to them and she asked, "What happened?" Before he answered Fred said, "He fell down while coming back to the Great Hall" and he pointed out his injury as it started to hurt. Fred helped him get up and brought him to the hospital wing where Mrs. Pomfrey did her magic to help Albus walk again. While she was doing that, Fred told all of his cousins to come to the hospital and Everyone was shocked to see Albus again in a hospital bed and Albus wanted to tell them what happened, but Madam Pomfrey told them no, but Albus asked a request that Fred would stay with him, and Fred was surprised and asked, "Why me?" "For helping" Albus answered, and Madam Pomfrey accepted it and made an extra bed for Fred and slept.
