Chapter 21: A Dawn of Hope

Albus woke up in a hospital bed and found himself in the hospital wing and saw all of the beds with his cousins on them and they were all sleeping. He finally saw the cast in his arm and on his leg that he suddenly noticed and never felt during the battle. He couldn't believe that after what they have all been through, they were able to stay alive for a whole year. He heard the door open and saw his father arriving at the hospital wing. Harry had a look of relief and hugged Albus and he returned it. Harry asked him "How are you, son? Dizzy or anything at all?" Albus answered "Nope. I feel fine dad." Albus asked Harry "Dad, how are you here when you are supposed to be at home?" Harry answered "Your Aunt Olivia Created devices to keep in touch with each other and with Hogwarts. When we heard that you were investigating your classmate, we had our own investigation about her too and found lots of things and Willow had a gadget to alert your aunt that there was something wrong and gathered us all together." Harry smiled at Albus who was amazed that they were helping them in secret and Albus asked another question "Dad, what happened after you found us?" "Well, Albus Delphini's group apparated in a place near Hogwarts but your mom, Aunt Olivia and Aunt Hermione chased them down and Battled them" Harry looked concerned. His son worriedly panicked "What about mom? Uncle Ron and Aunt Hermione? Lily? Are they ok too?" "Albus, calm down. They're safe and sound. And so, with Tom, Draco, Fabienne, Olivia, Pansy, and Mattheo" Harry soothed Albus. "They won and Delphini's group is now in Azkaban." There was silence for a while until Albus spoke "Dad, do you hate me because I'm a Slytherin?" "No, Albus. Just because you're a Slytherin doesn't mean I hate you. I care for you, even though you're a Slytherin" Harry spoke quietly, and he patted his son's shoulder and gave him a hug. After recovering from the battle, it was time for the House Awarding Ceremony. All Houses were feasting on the table until Headmistress McGonagall clinked on her glass and cleared her throat "May I have your attention please?" The class stopped eating on their food for a while and paid attention to the headmistress. Professor McGonagall spoke clearly "I would like to thank the Potters, the Weasleys, the Riddles, Mr. Malfoy and Miss De Lav for helping the school solve the mystery of who the Obscurial is, which is Delphini Riddle." She used her magic to award the banners for solving the clue and she boomed "All Houses win the House Cup. Extra 100 points to all houses!" The students and the professors all cheered for the family for solving the case about Delphini Riddle. After winning the House Cup, the Mystery Team got their report cards and went to the Hogwarts Express train. Albus couldn't believe he had to go home but he knew that his family was waiting for him at the station. All of the cousins were gathered in one compartment as they continued to celebrate with lots of sweets. Albus stood up and everyone looked at him and he said, "Thank you everyone for looking out for me throughout the whole year and I hope that I will do the same for all of you in the next years to come!" As Albus bowed, everyone cheered and gave him a big hug. Rose said to everyone "Better send letters, ok?" and everyone teased her "NO!" and before she blasted off. Selene said "Yes!" and everyone cheered "YEAH!!" After journeying back home, Esau and Selene ran to their mom and dad, giving them a hug. "Oh, my dear, children! I'm glad you're ok!" Fabienne cried. They gave their children hugs and kisses. "Dad, did you know that us, our cousins, and friends were able to solve the mystery of Delphini?" Esau asked excitedly to his father, Tom Riddle. His father spoke joyfully "Of course, Esau. You figured out who Delphini is." "And we're so proud of you, Esau and Selene." Fabienne tapped on her son and daughter's shoulders. Selene squealed "When we grow up, we want to be like you. Solving mysteries when you were younger!" With Scorpion, he approached Rose and uttered "Hey, Rose?" "Yes, Scorpion?" Rose replied. "Listen, I just want to say, thank you for helping out," said Scorpion. There was silence for a while until Scorpion spoke "Rose, I just want to say that I have—" Before Scorpion confessed to Rose that he has a crush on her, she gave him a kiss on the cheek. Scorpion was blushing red. Rose mentioned "It was nice meeting you, Scorpion." Willow hugged Esau before she ran to her mom and hugged her, and her mom returned it. "I see you have gotten closer to your cousins." Olivia said as they waved the Potters goodbye, Willow answered "Yep and I am glad to have them with me." Willow smiled brightly at Olivia and left the train station. Albus and James were glad to see their parents again and hugged them and their sister and Lily asked "Why are you both like this? You're squishing me too hard!" Both of them removed their arms and they all started laughing as they went home.
