Chapter 5: First Flight

The next day, The Ravenclaws and the Hufflepuffs had Flying Lessons to attend. As they went out, they saw their teacher Madam Hooch, "Good Morning, class!" she sharply said. Everyone responded with a chorus "Good Morning, Madame Hooch!" "Welcome to your first Flying lesson! Who can tell me why we need to fly?" she said. Willow De Lav raised her hand. Madame Hooch spoke in a sweet voice "Miss De Lav?" "The reason why we need to learn how to fly, not only for Quidditch purposes and Educational purposes but also for fun, transportation, and defense" Willow recited clearly. Madame Hooch sharply said "Excellent answer, Miss De Lav! 30 points to Hufflepuff!" Willow started to feel excited that she was about to start flying soon while Esau was looking at her weirdly since he thought it was weird for someone to be happy for an answer, but he was excited to fly as well. "Now let's get your brooms" and she whipped her wand, and the brooms were following, everyone had found a broom and were ready. "So, the first thing to ride a broom is to say "UP" and everyone said up in chorus it wasn't working at first and everyone tried again and again until they were in their hands. Madame Hooch cleared her throat and spoke in a sharp voice After such time, they had mounted on their brooms and all of them went up and flew as everyone was having fun in the sky. The Slytherins and Gryffindors had Charms and had to practice the levitating spell. Albus and his class were all confused but Delphini raised it with ease and tried it with a heavier object until it malfunctioned and flew out the window and they forgot about it. Until there was a sudden scream as Selene looked up and saw one of her classmates had fallen from her broom and Miss Hooch was trying to catch her. Selene went down and caught her classmate but fell on her bum very badly. Everyone had gone down and gathered on the ground to see what had happened as Madam Hooch helped both students from their bad fall. Willow asked both of them "Are you both alright? It was a bad fall the two of you made." and Selene said "I am alright" Esau tried to help his sister, but she felt a bad pain as well as the student and said sorry to her too many times as they went to the Hospital Wing. Esau became worried for his sister and thought how that student even fell when she was fine earlier, why was his sister's actions were needed even when she didn't know how to fly properly but Willow disturbed his thoughts which scared him, she too got scared and they both laughed it off and helped each other and Willow asked, "Are you alright Esau?" he looked at her and said "I am fine, just worried" and Willow gave a sweet smile and told him "She is going to be fine Esau, She is too active to stay in one bed." As she said that, Esau was starting to think of the same thing and felt alright after but still had the thought in his mind. As James had his Transfiguration class, he was still trying to work on how he can transfigure a mouse into a cup but when he saw Albus pass by, and James just felt that he had to check on him.
