Kongpob was so confused. He didn't understand what the doctor was saying.

The baby? Baby? What baby? This is Arthit they're talking about, right? Were they probably talking about a different person?

"Arthit didn't tell you?" asked the doctor, Kongpob just shook his head.

"I shouldn't have said that. Forget it." The doctor already preparing to leave, but Kongpob wouldn't let him. Kongpob had to know what the doctor meant. He continued to persuade the doctor to tell him, even though he had to lie by saying that he was indeed Arthit's lover.

After trying to persuade the doctor to tell him, he finally opened up, "Arthit came here alone about two weeks ago. He complained of frequent nausea, dizziness, and an upset stomach. Upon examination, this may sound unusual to you, but.. Arthit was pregnant."

It was rare for a man to get pregnant. Kongpob had heard of it when he was in elementary school, but after that, he never heard of it again, so Kongpob thought maybe it was just a rumor. Unexpectedly, now he himself is experiencing this.

Imagining the possibility that the child in Arthit's womb was his, Kongpob smiled. But his smile didn't last long, thinking about how Arthit would react hearing this.

Kongpob knew very well how much Arthit hated him. He can't imagine how Arthit would feel having to carry the baby of the person you hate so much. How does it feel to have a part of the person you despise growing inside your own body? Kongpob can't think about what Arthit will do with the baby.

At the thought of that, his face turned to horror. Kongpob was afraid that Arthit was deliberately not taking good care of himself because of the baby in his womb. Kongpob was afraid that Arthit would do something harmful to himself and his future baby. Kongpob was afraid that something bad will happen to Arthit, and it was all because of him.

Kongpob regretted what he had done even more.

"Although it looked small, the baby was already in its fifth month. As a man, Arthit himself didn't believe it either. It took a long time to convince him; we even asked him to see a gynecologist, but Arthit refused.

Maybe he was embarrassed, so I recommended him to go to my colleague, who is a gynecologist and runs a practice in his home. My colleague told me that Arthit came to him a week ago to make sure about his pregnancy, and he finally believed it. Arthit hasn't come back again since."

Kongpob doesn't know how to respond to the doctor's explanation. He just nodded. The doctor then walked out of the room and left Kongpob and Arthit there.

Looking at Arthit, Kongpob finally noticed that his stomach was a little bigger. He had not thought about the possibility of Arthit being pregnant.

Kongpob recalled Arthit's unusual behavior a week ago, and now he knew why.

When he entered Arthit's room earlier, Kongpob saw some medicines from various brands that had run out on the bedside table. Did Arthit deliberately eat those medicines? Intentionally making himself sick? Kongpob could not allow this.

Kongpob, who was originally going to leave Arthit at the clinic and tell Arthit's friend to pick him up, has now abandoned his plan. Kongpob didn't care how angry his senior would be or if he would kill him when he woke up; Kongpob would still wait until Arthit woke up and ask him directly.

When Arthit woke up, Kongpob already predicted how Arthit would react to seeing him there. Arthit was so angry, he yelled and cursed in front of his face; if Arthit's body wasn't lying weakly, Kongpob might have been already unconscious by now.

Kongpob started talking to him about the pregnancy. Arthit was evasive at first, not admitting that he was pregnant; he even said that even if he was pregnant, the child did not belong to Kongpob. However, Kongpob still urged him to talk.
