After an awkward meeting in the doorway, Arthit invited his 'guests' in. Arthit didn't have time to say hello or introduce himself as their attention was now diverted by Arka who was very happy with their arrival.

Watching them unwind, Arthit went to the kitchen to bring drinks and snacks for his guests. Arthit actually felt bad, he himself was a guest in this house, but he acted like he was the owner.

Why didn't Kongpob tell him that his family will come?

"Arka... can you play with P'Neua in Arka's room first?" Arka and the six-year-old girl called Neua got up from their seats and ran to Arka's room as requested by their Grandma.

Now in the living room, there was only Arthit, Kaning and the woman Arka called Grandma, who was none other than Kongpob's mother. Arthit knew he had to explain why he was in this house, but Arthit felt so awkward, he didn't know where to start.

"So, you know each other?" asked Kongpob's mother, glancing at Kaning and Arthit in turn.

"Um.. let me introduce myself, I'm Arthit. I'm... Kongpob's senior at the company where he did his internship." Arthit bowed at the end of his sentence.

Kongpob had never introduced Arthit to his parents. Not that Arthit expected to be introduced, but he felt embarrassed. At least Arthit wanted to thank Mrs. and Mr. Sutthilak for helping him during his internship a few years ago.

"Ar... Arthit? Are you..." Mrs. Sutthilak did not continue her words, she looked at Kaning as if asking for an explanation from her daughter.

"Yes Mom, just as you thought. He is Arthit."

Arthit did not know what was happening now. Had Kongpob told his parents about him? If so... how would the mother react to seeing Arthit there? Seeing that an Arthit who had abandoned her son and her grandchildren was now in their house?

Whatever happened next, Arthit would use this opportunity to apologize and thank them, it doesn't matter if he gets kicked out of the house after that, "I'd like to thank you. I am very grateful to you Mrs. and Mr. Sutthilak, P' Kaning, and everyone who helped and looked after me during my internship a few years ago. I'm sorry that I can only-"

Arthit's speech was interrupted when Kongpob's mother hugged him. She hugged him tightly while expressing her gratitude and thanks that they could finally meet. She also asked him a few questions but Arthit couldn't catch any of them, he was too shocked by what had just happened.

Honestly, Arthit thought that Kongpob's mother would be angry with him. Arthit was prepared for the curses and slaps he would get, Arthit was also prepared that he would be kicked out of this house. But as it turned out, the attitude shown by Mrs. Sutthilak was far from what Arthit expected, now he was speechless.

"Where have you been, son? You're really Arthit, right? Where have you been all this time? Are you okay? Where do you live now?" Mrs. Sutthilak flooded him with questions as soon as she loosened her hug, though both hands still held Arthit's upper arms tightly.

Arthit now just looked down, he was embarrassed. Very ashamed. He felt he didn't deserve to be treated like this. Why didn't Kongpob's mother just scold him? Arthit would probably feel better because that's what he deserved.

"Mom... don't give him that many questions at once..." reprimanded Kaning, although she was also curious about the answers to all that questions.

"I'm fine, Ma'am. After graduating, I worked at Y Company until now. I'm really sorry that I haven't thanked you all. I am really grateful for everything you have done for me. Thank you very much. I also apologize for everything I did-"
