"I told you to stop talking like that!" Arthit parked his car on the side of the road and gave Kongpob an annoyed look.
Kongpob could see the angry look on Arthit's face as well as his rapid breathing. Why was he this angry Kongpob didn't understand.
"Is it so hard for you to talk to me like before? Do you really hate me that much, Kongpob?"
"I never hated you." He replied silently.
"I want to meet Arka." Arthit had wanted to say this for a long time. He really wanted to meet Arka!
Ever since his meeting with Arka at the mall that day. Arthit couldn't stop thinking about him. Arthit wanted to see him again, hug him, chat with him, play with him, and do other things that he could only imagine for the past 3 years.
Arthit could have found out about Kongpob and tried to secretly meet Arka himself, but he didn't do that. He had made enough mistakes in the past and he didn't want to make Kongpob hate him even more.
If he wanted to meet Arka, he had to meet him in a good way, with Kongpob's permission too.
So Arthit always tried to approach Kongpob to ask for his permission, but that junior always clung to his female friend which annoyed Arthit.
This factory visit was not a coincidence, before Mr. Khao asked him to take the interns, Arthit had asked Mr. Khao's permission to take them first. Arthit couldn't wait any longer.
On the other hand, Kongpob was surprised to hear Arthit's request. Arthit... know about Arka?
Kongpob didn't forget, Kongpob knew they had met once at the mall, but Kongpob didn't expect Arthit to even remember his son's name.
Why did Arthit suddenly ask to meet his son? Why did he have to meet Arka? Did he forget that he himself said he didn't want to see his face?
It wasn't that Kongpob didn't want Arka to meet with his other father, he was just afraid, afraid of how Arthit would react when he met him. Kongpob was afraid that Arthit wouldn't be able to contain his anger and swear at Arka, Kongpob couldn't bear to see Arka being sworn at by him. Kongpob himself is enough to bear all the anger and curses from his seniors, not Arka.
"Let me see Arka, Kongpob." Arthit pleaded. His eyes looked straight into Kongpob's. The person he was staring at turned his face away. He couldn't look into those eyes for long. Arthit's gaze still had the same effect on him, Kongpob might subconsciously obey his senior's wishes.
"Why should I allow you to meet him?"
"I know I was wrong. I apologize. I don't expect you to forgive me that easily, but please let me meet Arka. I want to see him."
"How can I trust you won't do anything bad to him?"
"He's my son! How can I do anything bad to him?!" Arthit slightly raised his voice in annoyance.
P' Arthit... considering Arka as his son? Why? Why all of a sudden? Should I trust him? That he won't do anything bad to Arka?
"If you don't allow it, it's okay. You may not trust me yet. But at least, let me buy something for him. Don't worry, I won't do anything bad. You can come with me, we'll buy it together."
Arthit took Kongpob to a cake shop and ordered red velvet for Arka. Again Kongpob was surprised that Arthit still remembered their brief encounter. Arka must be very happy that Arthit brought his favorite red velvet cake.
"Whenever you go to college, or when you come home at night like this, who is taking care of Arka? Your family didn't move here, did they?" asked Arthit on the way home. His tone of voice was friendly, and Arthit seemed to be trying very hard to mend their relationship.
