chapter 14

Arthit and Arka are now starting their date. 

The two of them looked even more alike by wearing matching outfits that Arthit had deliberately bought a few days ago.

"Where are we going, uncle?" Arka asked when they had just taken their seats on the train.

Kongpob had told Arthit that Arka had never been on a train before. Remembering that, Arthit deliberately did not bring his own car so that he could accompany Arka to make his first train ride experience.

"Guess where we're going?" Arthit asked back, excitedly swinging their joined hands.

"Um... the zoo!"

"The zoo? Unfortunately, we won't be going there this time. Next time, okay?"

"With Papa?"

"Sure, we can take Papa with us."

"Um... how about Grandma?"

"Sure."

"And Aunty?"

"Sure, we'll invite everyone... today Arka will play with Uncle first... I'll take Arka somewhere exciting! Today Arka and Uncle will have fun all day!"

"Yay!"

During the 15-minute trip, Arka did not sit still beside Arthit. The little guy was always asking questions about whatever he saw outside the window, visiting passengers in other seats to engage them in conversation, Arka even tried to run to the front of the carriage because he wanted to meet the driver. 

Arthit couldn't believe he was getting tired when their date had just begun.

Arthit actually didn't know much about the area let alone the interesting places in this city. All he did was work. Therefore, he asked Shiena to recommend some places he could visit with Arka.

Arthit also planned to meet Shiena with Arka today. It just so happened that the place they were going to visit was not far from where Shiena lived. All this time, Arthit had been telling Shiena about everything. Hearing stories about Arka from Arthit made Shiena eager to meet Arka.

From the various places recommended by Shiena, Arthit finally chose to visit Kids Cafe. Arthit felt that Arka would enjoy playing there. Plus, not far from the Kids Cafe, there was a seafood restaurant that was said to be very famous. Arthit wondered how good the food was there. Kongpob also said that Arka was not allergic to any seafood, so Arthit planned to have lunch there with Arka after playing. In the afternoon, on the way to the station, there would be a night market that had been open since 4 pm. Arthit and Arka will walk through the night market and buy some snacks to bring home.

That was Arthit's plan for his first date. Arthit was jealous when he saw Arka and Kongpob make so many memories together through videos and photos. Therefore, today he would also take a lot of photos and show them off to Kongpob.

Upon arrival at the first destination, Arka immediately ran enthusiastically into the Kids Cafe. Seeing the many rides there made his little ankle run here and there to try all the rides. Arthit followed him behind, keeping Arka from falling or getting hurt.

There were many things that Arthit and Arka did together. Ride a bumper car, waited at the bottom of the slide every time Arka was about to ride it, helped Arka climb rides that were too high for him, got into the ball pit and let his body be targeted by Arka and his friends, and many more.

As one would expect from an active child like Arka, in a short period of time Arka now has playmates. There were three of them playing with him. Looking at Arka, who was now pretending to be the owner of a pink milk stall preparing his customers' orders, Arthit felt like he could take a short break.
