Someone knocks on the door. It must be Pedri who forgot his key card again. Or maybe it's our team manager who found Pedri's corpse in the river and is now thinking what the hell happened to him. Who knows? I bet Pedri went after a girl when he left so quickly a couple hours before. I wish I had a girl too. The red dress one if I can choose. We had a really good time on our date, if I can call it that. To me it definitely was a date but I don't know what she thinks. Should I send her a message since I have her number? What would be even better than sending a message to her would be having her cuddled up next to me. But that's impossible at the moment so maybe I should let Pedri in.

To my surprise he's not the one I see when I open the door. Red dress girl is standing on my doorway looking a bit embarrassed. "What's wrong?" I ask with a concern in my voice. "Come inside," I add.

She smiles awkwardly before answering. "Umm I found your missing bestie," she starts and bites her lip before continuing, "but he and my bestie Madeline were quite busy in our room so they sent me here."

"Ohh so that's what Pedri has been keeping from me," I think out loud.

"I didn't know either. I was shocked when I opened our room's door and they were all over each other –" she starts but I stop her before she gets further on her story, "Stop! I prefer not to hear all the details. They can keep them to themselves."

She blushes and says, "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to tell all of that but I'm still kinda shocked by the view."

"No, it's fine. Maybe you should sit down?" I suggest and smile encouragingly.

She sits down and starts talking just like on our date. I think she always does that when she's nervous. She tells me about her best friend Madeline and how they got here with England's national team. I let her talk and add some short answers when needed. I can see she's starting to feel comfortable. Her body relaxes, voice doesn't sound so tense and she starts gesturing her story with her hand. I smile. I feel like I could watch her talking for days. She is so beautiful.

"Can I ask you something?" I ask when she is telling me about their trip to Barcelona a couple of months ago. She tells they were checking a university where they both are going to start studying after christmas.

She looks up at me and says, "Yeah of course."

"You said Madeline and Pedri met in that nightclub in Barcelona so I was wondering do you remember me from there? I was with Pedri that night," I ask with hope in my voice. If she doesn't remember me I don't know what to do. She has been on my mind for months. I will feel like an idiot if I have been fantasizing about a girl who doesn't even remember me.

"How could I forget you? Your Spanish accent and those gorgeous emerald green eyes have been on my mind a lot. I thought I was the only one who remembered so I didn't want to make a fool of myself by reminding you of something you didn't even remember," she says and looks nervous again.

When I got confirmation I was not the only one remembering I'm not able to stop myself from saying, "You're like a miracle. I couldn't keep my eyes and mind off you back then and I still can't. I –" but I can't get the next words out of my throat since she glances at my mouth and that reminds me of how badly I want to kiss her. That dangerously attractive mouth is all I can think about.

"¿Cuántas veces debo mirar tus labios para que sepas que quiero besarlos?" I whisper in spanish.

Her eyes sparkle and her mouth parts a little when my spanish words reach her ears. My hand rises to her face and she smiles when I tuck her hair behind her ear.

"Can I —" I start but have no time to finish since there is a knock at the door. The moment is ruined.

"Not now," I say desperately and I give her an apologetic smile. Pedri couldn't have chosen a worse moment to come back.
