*3 days later*
I was in my second period, math, as I looked out the window. I saw other seniors smoking and drinking beer in front of the school.
"Samantha Quinn." My teacher, Mrs. Murphy, said.
"Samantha Quinn." She repeated loudly. I snapped out of my trance and stared at her blankly.
"Number 22, please." Her face softened as I looked at my paper.
"2 squared." I said loud enough for her to here me. She nodded and started writing on the smart board. I sighed as I heard max talk to me through our mind messages.
" What's wrong with you today?" He said.
"Tired, that's all." I replied, turning back towards the window.
"No, your not. Your fine, Sam, don't lie to me." He said. There was attitude in his voice. I sighed. I turned around to face him across the room and shook my head. As I turned back to the window, I saw something in the forest across the street. A few things actually. I squinted and noticed it was a group of wolves. 10 or 11 at least, I've never seen before. I raised my hand.
"Yes Samantha?" Mrs. Murphy said.
"May I use the bathroom?" I said quickly, glancing at the widow slightly.
"Is It an emergency?" She replied cockily.
"Yea, I've got to fucking go." I snapped. Her face turned pale and she nodded and handed me a pass. Once I was out of the class room, I ran to my locker to grab my things. I hurriedly packed my things and ran out the front school doors. I squinted at the sunlight as I tried to make out where the wolves were. I saw them and took off running. The street had no cars so I just ran until I reached the beginning of the forest. I shifted as I ran to the wolves. They all ran away. I chased after them until I reached the middle of the forest. I was lost. I heard a twig snap as someone toppled on too of me. I growled and bit at the figure above me. I heard my mind receive messages from the stranger.
"Hey there pretty lady." He said in a low growly voice. I bite his leg and stood up just as he jumped away whimpering. He shifted to human screaming swear words. I shifted too.
"What in the actual hell." I said crossing my arms. He looked up and was caught in a trance. I mean, I attract all wolf boys. Don't ask me how, I just did. My uncle told me that before he died of a heart attack. The stranger had a symbol on his should. A line with circles around it. He wasn't from my pack. He came near me. I stepped back with every step he took until I ran into a tree. The stranger can closer and closer until our lips were almost touching. He smiled. He had perfectly white teeth. Gorgeous blue eyes and sandy hair. His wolf looked exactly like him. I heard loud footsteps behind me. The stranger stepped away from me.
"Kyle." A familiar voice said. It was male. The voice came in front of me and I realized it was Connor.
"Connor, what, what are you doing here." Connors eyes grew wide as he saw me.
"Sammi! I'm so sorry about my friend Kyle." he said growling at Kyle. Kyle shrugged.
"Your a-"
"Ya." He whispered.
"Can I see you in your wolf form?" I said curiously. He nodded and shifted into a beautiful 6 foot grey wolf. He had the most gorgeous Milky Way eyes. I smiled. Connor shifted back to human as 8 more people came up to him.
"Your who I saw. Your all those wolfs." I saw Mac in the crowd. I jumped up and down.
"You tell anyone were wolfs!" Connor said seriously.
"Why would I go against my own kind?" I said smiling. The group of people including Connor gasped. I shifted into my wolf. I saw Connors eyes grow wide as he realized I was the white wolf.
"Sam! It was you!" He said smiling. "But, who and where is your pack?" I shifted and dusted off my jeans.
" My pack is in the mountains. All my cousins, were a pack. Including Max. We live up in the mountains, so we can stay hidden."
"Max was the wolf with you that night?" He said slowly.
"Yep, we were just leaving the sandwich shop." I replied
" And that's why you ran out when I told everyone I saw the white wolf..." He said scared. I nodded.
"I was afraid you had told everyone. Max is my protector. And I was pretty pissed that he chose you guys over me." I said digging my shoe into the ground. He nodded. I pointed to Mac.
"I'm the only girl wolf in my pack too! I finally have a really friend!" I said jumping up and down. Mac smiled.
"We better be heading back. 4th periods almost over." Kyle said. We all nodded and shifted into our wolves. Mac was a light brown wolf. All the rest were a yellowish grey. Mac, Kyle, Connor and I all ran together. As we reached the school, we all shifted back and ran into the school as the bell rang.
