It was the next day and you had a pretty good morning, you were putting away the blankets you had used yesterday.

Glaivedriver hopped from out the tree using his tail before rubbing his head up against you, his tusks were out.

"Heya pal! See any ships this morning?" You asked

Glaivedriver sheathed his tusks to rub his head against you once more.

Glaivedriver roared before looking over to the left and pointing his tail towards a beach.

"Okay. Whelp, let's go take down some ships." You said

Glaivedriver roared happily before jumping onto a tree and waited.

You got your armour on and made sure your wings weren't torn, Glaivedriver did have sharp edges on his scales so it was always something you need to look for incase.

"I'd say I stay on the boat, you... can do whatever." You said

Glaivedriver lowered his tail so you got on, he was pretty fast so he could get there quickly.

Glaivedriver roared happily before propelling off the ground and into the sky, you saw the boat so you got out your dagger.

You saw the hunter ship and the hunters saw you and began firing.

"See you!" You smiled

You swung yourself onto his tail before dropping onto the deck, you had multiple hunters coming at you now.

"Bad idea." You shrugged

The blade went up in flames so you had plunged the weapon into the deck causing a fire before Glaivedriver landed on the ground and stung a hunter in the arm and the venom acted fast.

"Who's next?" You asked

Glaivedriver was beside you and shrieked at the hunters before shooting the acid which burned through the wood before it lit on fire.

A hunter ran at you so you had acted quickly, you pierced his skin before he could swing his sword at you. Yes, he didn't drop but he seemed to struggle to move.

"How about... you take those two and I'll take those two." You stated

Glaivedriver sheathed his tusks before grabbing a hunter using his tail and slamming him into the other hunter.

You used the flight suit to block an arrow coming for your arm before you shot it back at the hunter making him fall asleep temporarily.

Glaivedriver roared before striking the other hunters leg and tripping him.

"Pretty small boat they're sending around here. Keep that one alive, make sure they know what's up and to not bother me." You stated

The hunter woke up and jumped at the sight of a Deathgripper drooling over him with his tusks unsheathed. Not a pleasant sight.

Glaivedriver roared before jumping away and flying up, you grabbed onto his tail and waved to the obviously frightened hunter before disappearing into the smoke.

"And... I assume you're gonna hang with me a little until your nightly hunting?" You asked

Glaivedriver swung you back onto his back happily before roaring at you.

Yes, from what you have heard the hunters describe Glaivedriver as a bloodthirsty dragon whom can't stop hunting. The hunting part is a little true but bloodthirsty doesn't exactly describe it.

Glaivedriver landed back at your camp, you hopped off and pulled your visor up, you were too lazy to take the helmet off.

Glaivedriver dragged the rest of the Yak over for you to cook again, Glaivedriver ate things raw and cooked. Anything he's able to get his tusks on.

You smiled before Glaivedriver ignited the fire so you began to cook it.

"Y'know. We could totally go fishing tomorrow, haven't had fish in a long time." You suggested

Glaivedriver roared happily before staring at the Yak.

You finished cooking so Glaivedriver had eaten the Yak right after, he'd most likely finish it within five minutes.

You had seen the sun setting meaning it'd be winter real soon, soon enough Glaivedriver would need to start taking extra care into the way he hunts since snow isn't exactly the best stealthy thing to be stepping in.

You finished your food before putting it away.

You took off the armour and the flight suit before Glaivedriver had put out the fire using his wings to blow it out.

Glaivedriver roared happily while watching you place the dagger in the water and you had let it float there, you didn't wanna ignite it overnight by accident.

"I assume you're gonna go hunting real soon. My word of advice, I had seen some Night Terrors on the east side of the island. Everyone knows how much you love those." You smiled

Glaivedriver shrieked in excitement before unsheathing his tusks and nudging you a little, Glaivedriver usually was excited about hunting and was even more excited when someone or something shows fear in front of him.

A little sadistic, yes, but he was also a caring dragon if you can get warmed up to him.

Glaivedriver roared at the sky and flapped his wings.

"See you... tomorrow?" You guessed

Glaivedriver made a rattling noise back at you before propelling into the sky and up into the clouds where he could no longer be seen meaning his movements and wing beats are masked by the wind, something all Deathgrippers know to do and take to their advantage.

You laid down and grabbed the hide you used as a blanket, you pulled it over you.

You looked up at the sky in complete darkness, the stars were in sight and it was actually pretty beautiful. Reminded you of your past and the time you spent stargazing although you don't dwell into when you were younger often.

You seemed to get too hot which was unusual but you pulled the blanket off of you.

wing beats could be heard in the sky, most likely Deadly Nadder's starting their migration.

You flipped yourself over and yawned, you stretched before closing your eyes and dozing off to sleep. Who knows what the next day would await you, fishing wasn't exactly something you had fun with.

Anything for Glaivedriver though, when you said anything you meant it. You'd kill, die and ruin another's life just for him. Glaivedriver didn't deserve anything bad to come to him, his species was misunderstood and you didn't stand for any stereotypes that came with it.

That's how a dragon rider should act with their dragon, defending them in any way.
