CHAPTER 47

Brunch was funny. Joshua was too busy eating his hash browns to acknowledge our convo. Kayla was talking about how she got stuck in her brain during her ecstasy trip and couldn't move for 10 minutes. As me and trevante were listening to her I felt him pull me closer to him.

" What ", I looked up at him.

" You look beautiful ", trevante spoke softly in my ear.

" I'm hungover ", I giggled.

" Don't make no difference ", he kissed my cheek but before he pulled away.

He continued.

" If you want the baby we gotta keep trying. Over and over and over- ", I cut him off.

" Yes I know how these things work tre. I know how to make kids ", I laughed.

" And you gotta learn how to take it all. I shouldn't have to hold you down and make you t-", I cut him off again.

" Maybe I like the chase ", I sipped my mimosa slyly.

" Or maybe you can't take dick ", trevante snorted.

I popped him on the arm and rolled my eyes. He was right. And it's sad.

When brunch was over we all took Joshua sight seeing. We all rented those Italian smart cars and roamed the city. Joshua was very excited for his boat ride. It was all he kept talking about.

Around 3pm we all headed back to the hotel and changed into bathing suits. I got dressed into mine and threw on a cover up. We all got ready and headed to the south of France. As soon as we made it to the ocean Joshua started screaming from excitement.

" Auntie! Look at da water ! ", Joshua started bouncing up and down in his seat.

" I know ! There's fishies in there. You'll be able to see them once we get on the boat ", I tried to match his excitement. His excitement actually made me excited.

" Boat !! Boooaaattt!!! ", Joshua chanted. Everybody joined him.

I'm sure everybody at the dock thought it was weird that a group of adults were singing boat with a toddler but oh well.

We boarded the boat and sailed out.

As soon as we got on the boat we started drinking. No smoking for Joshua's sake though. Joy started blasting music while Kayla had her phone out snapchatting every moment. Jay-z blasted through the speakers and we sang along when suddenly Kayla turned her camera towards me.

It was all fun. She even caught Rico slip and bust his ass on the side of the boat before falling in. Joshua thought it was hilarious until he saw that he had a bruise on his leg. I was tipsy again. Some say the best cure for a hangover is more alcohol. Eventually I slowed down and stuck with water.

Joshua was having the time of his life as trevante controlled the steering. I video tapped his reaction to being on a boat. It was precious. These were moments I would never trade for the world. I watched Joy hold her son and I just knew that this time around it had to work. I was willing to do anything to make sure I carried to full term. I turned to look back at tre who was controlling the yacht from the upper deck. I walked up the stairs to him and stripped off my cover up.

I walked over to the dinning table across from him and sat down. He turned around to look at me. He inspected my swimsuit and pulled on a bikini strap on the side of my bottoms.

" What ", I looked at him.

" Nothing...", his voice trailed off as he continued to play with the strap on my bathing suit bottoms.
