CHAPTER 57

Christmas came and went and so did the family. Joy and Flaco left first. Then ruby and her kids. Then uncles and aunt and finally our moms and my dad along with my kid sister lily.

" Bye pretty girl ", I pecked her cheek and buttoned up her winter coat. She waved goodbye at us as my mom and stepdad helped her into the car.

It was December 29th now and all the guests were gone. I started throwing away left overs and ordering groceries for my assistant to pick up. Trevante took the kids outside in the backyard while Nenet slept in her rocker in front of the tv. When they came from outside I served the kids breakfast along with trevante of course. He had already found an apartment and he already had some of his things packed. He really was taking what I said seriously.

I know that most women would want her cheating husband around to keep an eye on him but it wouldn't make a difference. He goes to work and I go to work. We would be away from each other at some point. I just didn't want to see him everyday. What would really makes a difference to me is if he comes to counseling.

Abuela came over to watch the kids and we went to go check out the apartment that he would be renting out temporarily. It was an just five minutes away from our house. A luxury apartment like we had gotten Abuela and Leslie. Trevante turned the key into the door and slowly open it. The room was illuminated by a huge window that spread across the living room letting in the sky light. A place with a view.

" This is nice ", I walked through the house in my stilettos.

" Very spacious for London I suppose. They gave it to me right away ", he started fondling with the kitchen.

" I'm almost jealous but then I remember that I live in a castle so I'm good I guess ", I teased.

He didn't respond but instead grabbed me by my hand and took me around the house. Eventually we got to the bedroom that was empty but not for long. His bedroom had a huge window as well.

" I like how small this place is. It reminds me of when we were younger. It's nice ", I looked at the cars driving through the city.

" Yeah. Maybe when things get good again, you'll let me take you on a date here. We've already been everywhere in London ", I felt his presence creep up behind me.

" Maybe. Old man ", I patted his chest and left out of the room before he could corner me. I always called trevante old man but truthfully he was still young. He was 30.

" Our first appointment is January 3rd at 3pm and then you're first individual appointment is right after that at 4:15 pm. I'll give you a time sheet so that you know when to go. Do you want me to be there with you when yo- ", I was interrupted.

" Yes ", he responded before I could even finish.

" Okay. Everytime then ? ", I asked again.

" Everytime. If you aren't busy ", he brushed his finger underneath my chin and I jumped. He smirked at my reaction and my cheeks got hot.

" Okay ", I shrugged trying to act nonchalant.

We drove back home and made the kids some lunch. I had groceries delivered just in time so Trevante put away them away for me. As I was put together their lunch he came around the corner with Nenet. She smiled at me as he bounced her in his arms.

" Hi ", I smiled at her and she grinned with her fingers in her mouth.

" Are those fingers good ", I laughed at her and she started babbling.

I finished the twins lunch and let them sit in front of the tv to eat it at their mini table. I took Nenet upstairs to feed her.

" Stop biting momma ", I warned her.
