I'll teach you 2 different methods on how to create these awesome, easy to personalize corner book marks that are becoming quite popular.

METHOD 1

Materials:
-a square piece of paper
(Size varies, but approx. ---)
-scissors (to cut the paper into a square unless you already have paper)

1. Rotate your square so that it looks like a diamond.

2. Fold it in half. (bottom to top)

3. Take the two points that are opposite each other, on the bottom. (not the point, pointing up)
Fold them so that they meet in the middle, pointing upwards, like the top point.
It should look like a diamond. (split in the middle)
[see photo reference]

4. Unfold your diamond shape so that it's back to looking like step 2, as a triangle, with the upwards facing point. There are two creases on the sides, making a diamond center and two triangles on the bottom sides.

5. Take the front point that is facing upwards and match it to the middle of the bottom, the sides of the top point matching the side creases.

6. Take the two triangles that are on the bottom sides and tuck them behind the top point that is now folded downwards.
Make sure they're tucked in all the way.
