These are super easy and fun to make!

What you need:
~liquid white glue or clear glue
(just plain liquid school glue)
~markers (permanent works but be aware of what surface you are marking on because it probably won't come off)
~a pencil box with a rectangle in the middle/a lid with a template of what you want your bookmark to look like
~something to spread the glue around like a popsicle stick

What to do:
1. Take your template. Such as the pencil box. Using markers, colour in the area where you want your bookmark to be. (i.e. the rectangular shape on the lid)
Make sure the marker hasn't completely dried out for the next step.
2. Pour glue onto the area that you have coloured. (a pencil box is recommended because there is already a rectangle on the lid with borders so the glue does not run.)
3. Spread the glue somewhat evenly with something like a popsicle stick.
4. Let dry until when you touch it, it does not stick to you. The drying process is likely to take at least more than a day or so.
5. Once dry, use your nails or a sharp object to peel off the dried glue, very slowly.
*it doesn't always work out but I've heard that some glues are better
(I used Elmer's white glue that dried clear and it was fine.)

It shouldn't melt unless exposed to extreme high temperatures. Also, it may break after a long period of time because they are sort've fragile. But they are flexible and easy to make and customize.
