I FEEL SO BAD!

I'VE BEEN SUPER TIRED & BUSY & JUST HAVEN'T HAD TIME.

I'VE MISSED YOU ALL.

HERE'S CHAPTER 5.  I WILL HAVE CHAPTER 6 UP SOON BECAUSE I LEFT YOU SO LONG WITHOUT AN UPDATE.

I APOLOGIZE MY FRIENDS. FORGIVE ME.

"No , no, no, no, no." I yelled quickly walking away. His long legs made him catch up with me easily. "Hailey, talk to me. Please, I haven't seen you in years. I can't believe how different you look." I sighed angrily and stopped walking. Why won't he get the clue that I don't want to talk or see him. He ruined who I was. He was the one that changed me.

"I tried changing who I was so if I ever saw you again, you wouldn't recognize me." He tried touching my hair but I moved away so I wasn't in his reach.

"I could never forget your face. You think you can hide from me but I know those eyes anywhere." I put my hands to my face and rubbed my eyes. I wanted to die right there. He was getting back into my head from his big brown eyes. I couldn't even look him in the eyes. If I did, I would probably just fall into his arms.

"I can't talk to you. You broke a promise to me. I promised you I would open my own tattoo shop. I promised I would be strong for my mom. When I kept those promises, you weren't there to see me like you said you would. I achieved my goals, my dreams and you weren't there. I proved to myself that I'm not a loser. I proved I could do something with myself. You proved you had the audacity to make someone so sad, that they just want to die. The only person that could save me ended up almost killing me."

I wasn't crying now. I didn't have any tears left to cry.

"Hailey, I'm sorry. I thought you would've forgiven me by now."

"FORGIVE YOU?! WHY SHOULD I?!"

"Didn't you ever figure out why I did it?" I was really confused. He was smiling and chuckling but I didn't find this quite funny. How could he be laughing at something that made me cry almost every night for several years?

"Austin, you've had a reason to break my heart. You hated me and practically almost killed me." He stopped smiling for a few minutes. The silence held on for a while. I didn't want to be rude and walk away but he was making this situation awkward. I sighed angrily and started to walk away. He sighed as well and went to grab my shoulder.

"I told you I hated you because I had a girlfriend, we planned to move away to start our lives together. I didn't want you to be upset but I see what I did was worse than that. She always got jealous for the girls that I was friends with and when she said I couldn't talk to you anymore I was heartbroken."

"Yeah right Austin. You can't make up stupid excuses for something like this."

"Hailey I'm being totally honest with you. I also had to use her for money. I needed a heart surgery and I couldn't ask you and your family for money because I knew you were tight on money. And if something went bad I didn't want you to be so upset if I-"

"Died... How do I know this is true? You could be bullshitting all of this." I didn't want to believe him. My old best friend was dying and I wasn't there to see him, or help him or be there for him when he went through surgery.
