Chapter 8 - The Irony of Choking on a Lifesaver

I woke up with a killer headache. My head pounded and I felt like my skull was going to burst. I felt so nauseated like I was about to puke out my insides. The only thing I hate about drinking so much was the hangover in the morning. You felt as if you were never going to recover from it. I don't really remember much of what happened last night but I sure do know that the boys of All Time Low can really party it up. They're quite funny dudes actually. They made me laugh and kept me entertained all night. I'm definitely going to hang out with them some more this summer. Maybe we can get close so even after Warped, I can have the chance to hang with them too.

The last thing I remember from last night was taking shots with Alex and Alan. After that was completely a blur. The last thing I wanted was to wake up in someone else's bed. That did happen occasionally and I did not need it this time. I've learned that every guy in that bus was kinda flirty, and I really hoped I wasn't stupid enough to sleep with one of them. I started to get out of bed and realized I still had clothes on. Thank God.

However, I wasn't on my bus. I wasn't even on OM&M's bus. SHIT. Where the hell was I?

I started to get out the bunk and looked around. I didn't see anyone yet and it was a little quiet. I headed towards the bathroom and suddenly crashed into someone. I looked up to find a shirtless Alex. What the hell was I doing in their bus? He looked tired and like his hangover was ten times worse than mine. I slightly smiled at him as he did the same. "Morning." He muttered. I already started smelling the fresh aroma of coffee. I walked over to the lounge and found Jack handing me a mug filled with the brown liquid. The three of us sat in the lounge for about ten minutes in silence. They're definitely worse than I am.

"I have one question and I promise I'll be quiet after that." Jack chuckled and took another sip of his coffee. "How the hell did I get on your bus? I swore I left back to mine." I hope one of them has their memory from last night because I was totally clueless on how I got here.

"About an hour after you left, you came back and was said you were extremely bored. You couldn't sleep and we didn't know what to do. So we started walking around the area and were singing random songs. Then after a while we came back to the bus and Jack suggested we watched Home Alone. You two got into an argument because you refused to watch that movie. Zack then came out yelling at you two to shut up because he wanted to sleep. Then Rian had come out yelling at all of you to shut the hell up because you were being way too loud. I had already put in a movie to watch and then the TV caught your attention and you sat next to me focused on the movie. Things calmed down and you suggested we go out and find a bar to party at. We left and found some random bar, hence all the glitter sticking to your body. We got even more hammered there and I'm pretty sure we got kicked out. We came back here and you passed out in a matter of minutes. That was around five in the morning." Alex finished off his coffee and laughed at the shit we did last night. I really don't remember any of that. I don't have one memory from that part of last night.

I sat there not knowing what to say because I usually remember some of the big things that happen when I'm drunk. How could I not remember a single thing? "I think you forgot the part where Hailey and you made out." Jack giggled. My eyes widened and my body stiffened. I made out with Alex?

"I'm sorry Alex I didn't know and I-" He laughed quite loud cutting me off.
"Hailey, it's okay. It happens like all the time when I get drunk. I'm surprised I didn't sleep with you." "I was worried about that too!" I think Alex and I just became best friends. I laughed to myself and felt so much better about last night; I should stop getting so worried about things.

After talking to the guys for a little while longer, I got off the bus and decided to change and get cleaned up. I got on the bus and found Chris and Tony pacing the floor. I cleared my throat for them to notice me. "OH THANK GOD!" Tony yelled as he ran over to me.

"Are you okay? Where were you?" I was completely confused at why I was being smothered by Tony. "I'm fine, what's up?"
"It's like three in the afternoon and I'm pretty sure you left in the middle of the night. We were all so worried and you didn't answer anyone's calls or texts." I just laughed and rubbed the back of my neck. I didn't think I could get a small group of people so worried.
"I was with Alex and Jack. We went out for a while last night and I crashed on their bus after we got home. It was no big deal, they took care of me and I'm pretty sure I ended up okay." I chuckled at Tony. Him and Chris looked so worried when I got on the bus. The bus door flew open and in ran Kellin.

"Did you find her? Is she-" I waved at him and he ran towards me, engulfing me in a hug. I look behind him and see Dani walking on the bus with Austin following behind. He smiled widely at me, I gave him a small smile amd my eyes didn't leave his.

kellin pulled away amd looked towards Austin. "He was worried about you the most. I heard him complain to Alan the entire time. I think it's really cute actually." Austin looked at me still smiling. I was about to walk over to Austin when Alex and Jack came into the bus.

"Really guys, you wouldn't trust me and Jack to take care of Hailey? Just because we all were drunk doesn't mean we can't take care of ourselves. You know me, I'm some what responsible." He then came over to me and gave me a hug. Jack then lifted me over his shoulders and ran out the bus. Laughing the entire tiem, I was hitting him on his back and screaming. He finally put me down and I pulled him into a hug.

"Jack, I advise you not to do that again or you don't even want to know what I'll do." He tried to bite my neck and I slapped his mouth.

"Bad Jack, no." He made a puppy dog face at me, he was such a child. I gave him a kiss on the cheek and he started to giggle and be happy again. The guys of ATL had gotten so close to me and I'm very grateful they're my new friends. They really make me happy.

Speaking of happiness, where's Austin?
