HELLBOUND {Sequel}

Sixteen

__While Sonic and Tails were standing on the ground, Scourge was awkwardly standing on a brick wall. He looked uneasy as he tried to move his head to properly look at Tails. "How the fuck am I supposed to stand where you are?"
__That's when Tails held up his right hand and pulled his glove out of the way where the gravity-control watch was on his wrist. "The Zone Patrol has to give you this watch so you can be down here with us."
__Sonic was looking when Zonic started walking over to them. "You got an extra one for Scourge by any chance?"
__Zonic skeptically looked at Scourge, who slowly waved at him. He sighed. "Yeah, we got one for him I suppose." He pulled out a watch and gave it to the green hedgehog. "Thought you weren't supposed to come back here."
__When Scourge put the watch on he immediately fell to the ground. "Ack!" He groaned as he stood up and shook his head. "Just this once. We need to question someone and I have to make sure no one hurts these two fuckers."
__Sonic had been slowly creeping up on Scourge. When he got close enough he dramatically pulled his hand up and forcefully smacked Scourge's ass, making him jump and yelp. "Payback, bitch!"
__"You...!" Scourge started running after Sonic.
__Tails rolled his eyes as the two hedgehogs starting rough housing as he walked up to Zonic. "There's a weird phenomenon happening where we live with Eggman. We need to question this Pallas the Manul in Zone Jail."
__Zonic's eyes went wide. He turned to look at his partner Zespio, but the chameleon just shrugged his shoulders. Zonic looked back at Tails. "What kind of phenomena?"
__"The county we live in is the only area that's cold and snowing whereas the surrounding counties are clear and hot," Tails explained. "We were given a hint that the method was out of this universe and that was when Scourge brought up Pallas and his precious jewel."
__Both Tails and Zonic looked as Sonic managed to grab Scourge in a playful chokehold as was fiercely rubbing the top of his head.
__"Yield, faker!" Sonic said as he continued to pull Scourge while he resisted.
__Scourge was laughing. "Oh! Harder, daddy!"
__"Bro!" Sonic let go of Scourge and started kicking him.
__"Sorry! Sorry!" Scourge was still laughing as he ran away from Sonic. He retreated behind Tails and continued to laugh at Sonic's face when he looked defeated.
__"You're so annoying!" Sonic barked.
__"You're annoying!" Scourge proceeded to stick his tongue out, to which Sonic stuck his tongue out as well.
__Tails then shrugged Scourge off of him. "Ladies, stop sticking those tampons far up your cunts and focus." He then looked back at Zonic. The blue hedgehog was smiling while trying to hold in his nervous laughter. "Sooo... You think we can head over to Zone Jail?"
__Zonic made a big inhale and sighed. He looked serious again. "I'll have to contact the warden first, but I'll see to it."

__Zonic and the three friends were walking through the halls of Zone Jail. None of the inmates were out here. It was their breakfast time, so everyone was in the cafeteria. The warden was waiting at the entrance to the cafeteria. He looked slightly annoyed when he saw Scourge with them.
__"Well well well," the human had said slowly. "Didn't think I'd see you back here so soon."
__Scourge snorted. "Fuck you, too."
__"Why are we meeting him here?" Sonic had asked Zonic. "You had us meet with Scourge in the integration room."
__"Because Pallas is a little too unstable for us to try and force him to where we need him to go," Zonic explained. "He may not look it, but he's dangerous. He wouldn't be here if he wasn't."
__"Like I said," Scourge started as he elbowed Sonic. "He's fucking crazy. Even Fiona doesn't want nothing to do with him, and she'll gladly attempt to hop over a river of lava."
__Tails felt nervous as more Zone Cops started joining them.
__"This way then," the warden said reluctantly as he started walking into the cafeteria.
__Some of the inmates turned to look at them. When they gasped it made all of the others turn to look. They were all staring at Scourge. Some of them looked scared. Of course they were. Scourge was no longer wearing an inhibitor collar, so if any of them pissed him off it would not end up good for them.
__The warden led them to a table in the middle. There sat the middle-aged manul alone. He was a lot bigger than Tails imagined, and not because of the thick fur. This manul had muscle. The warden had told the surrounding inmates to move to other tables and told the manul to stay where he was. The Zone Patrol started surrounding the table.
__Tails looked over as a big brown koala started walking over to Scourge. He pulled on his sleeves and pointed at her. When Scourge turned to look at the koala she froze where she was.
__"Abby," Scourge said sternly. "What is it?"
__"Oh, uh," she started shyly. "I just... want to know about Fiona. That's all."
__Scourge had smirked as he rolled his eyes. "She's fine. She's actually going to be having my son in four months."
__The koala leaned back as her eyes grew wide. She looked more nervous. "Oh! Uh... congrats?" She then backed away when one of the Zone Cops shooed her away.
__Zonic looked at Scourge. "Fiona's pregnant? Isn't it technically early for you to be having a kid?"
__Scourge buzzed his lips and pointed at Sonic. "Tell that to this guy. He's already got a not-so-accident daughter back home."
__Sonic glared at Scourge. "Oi! I know what I did! You don't have to keep reminding me."
__"What's happenin' 'ere!?" The manul suddenly spat. "I didn' do nothin'!"
__That was when Scourge walked over and sat down on the tabletop. "Sup, Pallas! Good to see ya! How ya been?"
__The manul was growling at Scourge. "Whaddaya want, snot? I'm eatin' 'ere! Ya botherin' me!" He suddenly jumped when Sonic hopped on the table right in front of him and crouched down.
__"We just wanna ask a few questions, Pallas," Sonic said calmly. "Scourge here says you have a precious jewel that brings you your rain."
__Tails groaned as he started waving his hands at the two hedgehogs. "You two are grown men!" He growled. "Get down!" The two had flattened their ears as they carefully slipped off the table.
__"Whaddaya need my precious jewel for!?" Pallas sneered.
__"We don't need it," Tails replied calmly. "We just want to ask about it."
__The manul suddenly stood up. Tails had flattened his ears as the manul towered over the fox. A manul mobian was not supposed to this tall. Pallas was growling as he brought his face down to the fox's. "I know what ya want! Ya want my rain! Ya ain' gettin' my precious rain!"
__Tails wanted to back away but couldn't. "We don't want your rain, crazy old geezer!"
__Pallas brought his hand up to point at Tails, but Scourge suddenly grabbed that hand and started bending the manul's arm weirdly (not enough to break it). The manul grunted and glared at the hedgehog. "Oi...!"
__"Zip it!" Scourge growled. He started bending the arm more. "You don't touch that boy. Don't forget who you're dealing with now that I'm no longer restricted."
__The manul flattened his ears. He looked down at the floor and started shaking. "All righ'! All righ'! I won' hurt 'im!"
__Scourge let go and watched Pallas immediately start rubbing his arm. He looked around at the Zone Cops and frowned. "We don't need everyone here."
__"You don't get to make the decisions here!" One of the Zone Cops spat.
__"We don't need everyone here," Sonic repeated.
__Zonic turned to the other Zone Cops and nodded. "I'll stay with them. You all go."
__Sonic had waited until the others left them before he turned back to the manul. "We just want to know more about your jewel. We want to know what it does, what it's called, and what it looks like."
__"Why do ya wanna know!?" Pallas spat.
__"Scourge said your jewel brought you your rain," Tails explained. "There's something similar happening back home and we just want to confirm something with your cooperation."
__Scourge leaned in close. "You don't have much of a choice."
__Pallas looked at the three in defeat as he sighed. "Fine fine! Whateva! It's called the Kumori Jewel, all righ'?"
__Scourge tilted his head. "Kumori?"
__"Ah, yes," Tails said while he nodded. "It means cloudiness."
__"Huh?"
__Sonic smiled at Scourge. "It's Japanese, bruh!"
__Scourge looked even more confused. "You guys know Japanese?"
__"Of course we do," Tails replied promptly. "It's our first language. Anyway..." He looked back at Pallas. "What does it look like?"
__Pallas held up his hands, flinching when Scourge shifted, and made them look like he was holding a ball. "It's a clear crystal ball. It's got all this fog in it that looks like movin' clouds." He dropped his hands. "It brings ya whateva weather dependin' on ya feelins' and shit when ya have it. But when ya 'ave used it once, it'll always make the same thing for ya no matter what. I was sad the first time I had it, so it always brought me nice rain to calm me down."
__This intrigued Tails. A crystal ball that reflected on your emotions seemed really neat. Plus, this manul didn't seem all that bad now. He just needed some rain to keep him happy. But it did help that knowing Scourge could easily kick his ass now, so it kept the manul from acting out.
__Scourge suddenly grabbed his chin and began to ponder. "So... what the hell does snow mean in terms of emotion?"
__"It's all subjective," Tails began to explain. "Usually you could associate snow with fear or beauty. But it could also represent a new beginning, or death."
__"Yep, that's Eggman for you," Sonic remarked. "He's either really scared of the situation he's putting himself in, or he's preparing to actually kill us this time." He looked back at Pallas. "What happened to the Kumori Jewel?"
__"I kept it hidden when I got arrested for sendin' nuclear bombs to other zones," the manul grumbled.
__"Eggman likes to be nosy," Tails reminded Sonic. "He probably stumbled upon something about the Kumori Jewel and went to his zone to take it. I'll bet he wanted to create some other disastrous weather to try and aid him in wiping us out, but he couldn't do enough research on it with what little he had and got snow instead."
__Pallas straightened up. "Someone else 'as got my precious jewel!? And it's in another zone!?"
__Sonic held his hands up. "Relax, Pallas. We'll get the Kumori Jewel back from Eggman and return it to your zone." He set his hands down and looked at Zonic. "That's all we can do anyway."
__Tails flattened his ears when he heard the other inmates whispering. They were talking about his two tails. It would appear this was something new to most of them. This made him nervous as he brought his two tails in front of him and held them tightly.
__Scourge saw this and started glaring at the prisoners. "Don't worry about these assholes, Tails. They're not going to do anything." This made all the prisoners quiet down and look away.
__Sonic was looking a little disappointed. "Well, we got what we wanted. Now what? It doesn't feel like we really achieved anything."
__"Now we know Eggman can't make tornadoes and earthquakes with the jewel," Tails muttered as he let go of his tails. "This snow is no real threat to us. Just another failed attempt." He then looked down as his communicator beeped. He saw Nicole on the screen. She was waving at him as some text appeared over her head. It read Bunnie and Antoine have located Dr. Eggman's base. All available Freedom Fighters are to meet up and look around. She then covered the screen with a map. She had marked an area in the middle of the island they lived on. This was an area Tails had never been to before. He wasn't even sure if Sonic had been there, and he had been everywhere. He looked at the two hedgehogs. "They found Eggman's new base. We have to go."
__The hedgehogs looked at their communicators. They both looked confused.
__"I've never been there before," Sonic said slowly.
__"Neither have I," Scourge added. "And I thought I've been around the whole island, too, when I was looking for a new house."
__Sonic set his hand down as he looked at Zonic. "Well, that's it I guess."
__"All right then. Let's get you three outside." Zonic started leading them away.
__The warden was smiling weirdly as he looked at Scourge. "You finally look chipper."
__"You had nothing to do with it!" Scourge said proudly. This made Zobotnik annoyed as they all left.
