Rubicon (12,1)

A meeting had been called by Lexa for all the clans in Tondc to ready for the war effort. And though Tyra always looked forward to seeing Lexa again, somehow leaving the sky camp seemed like a bittersweet situation.

She credited it to the fact that she was beginning to enjoy the stares of disbelief every time she won, after all, being underestimated and then proving them wrong was one of the best feelings Tyra had ever felt.

Though, Tyra knew Bellamy had to play a part in it, by staying at camp she had been able to speak to him every few hours, having meaningless brief conversations about his Greek and Roman stories every few hours that always brought a smile to her face.

But she wouldn't have that privilege in Tondc, Tyra would have to return to the stone heartless killer she had always been, and she wasn't quite sure if she wanted to keep that act anymore after discovering the joy of freeing her repressed smile.

Alas, Tyra was a warrior, and a warrior obeyed her Commander, especially when she cared about said Commander like a proper sibling.

So, Tyra obeyed, she left the sky people's camp to return to Lexa by Octavia, Indra, and her warrior's side. Not stopping until they were all in the bustling village, who for the first time in possibly decades had more people than space to harbour them.

Lexa had resorted to pacing in deep thought once again, while Tyra kept peeking out between the curtains.

"Azgeda has arrived. You have truly begun a party, sister." Lexa momentarily stopped her pacing, sighing as she noticed where exactly Tyra's free hand was placed.

"I expect you not to stab any of them this time. You caused a diplomatic mess last time." Tyra freed her previous hold on one of her knives, letting the curtains close behind her while she drifted to Lexa's side with a taunting smirk.

"It was a game, he lost." Lexa scowled at a circling Tyra.

"He lost his finger." Tyra shrugged, waving Lexa off with a careless hand.

"He could've lost an arm, but he didn't." Tyra resorted to peeking outside the tent once more, the people outside were greeting each other as if it were just another family dinner.

But it wasn't, it was war, death, and blood all at once. And those smiling friends they saw now would soon become corpses at her feet.

"I understand your hatred. I do, Tyra." She turned around once more, all her playful manners from before dropping for the scowl Lexa had grown more accustomed to in the past years.

"Look me in the eyes and tell me you don't wish to make them suffer for what they did to Costia, to Hadyn." Lexa's look softened at the mention of the two.

Sometimes, she forgot how Tyra had been just as affected by Azgeda as she had, it all seemed so distant to Lexa, like a whole other lifetime. But to Tyra it was a constantly bleeding wound that still had yet to heal, and no matter how many times she wished to seal the wound, it always opened once more.

"I do. And they did suffer. But they are part of the clans now, and must be treated accordingly." Tyra scowled, wanting nothing more than to hear the tortured screams of Azgeda's people, just like they had made her brother scream.

Maybe then Hadyn's ghost would finally stop haunting her.

"Come, they are looking for their Commander." Lexa straightened her back, walking past Tyra while she held the curtain open before following her outside.

Now that Tyra was back to Tondc, she had to fulfill her duties once more. Following Lexa as she greeted dignitaries with a pleasant nod and closed ended conversations.
