Awkward Moments

                             Chapter Seven

(Time Skip)
March: Week One
It's been just over a month since the others left for Tokyo. And Raph was now a chubby guy. He has a double chin, and chubby cheeks, his arms were softer now and his belly was being hugged by every shirt he had. His pants were very snug now, but he still wore a belt with them. Because he was in a bit of denial. He had grabbed a few things from his old room and put them in your parent's bedroom and started doing workouts. You came home from work to the sound of him working out and you immediately got concerned. You walked up to the room and knocked on the door.

"Raph. Open the door."

He continued going and you sighed opening the door. Raph was in his workout shorts and a muscle tank top. Doing some curls his muscles flexed, and his shirt hugged his body. You started breathing heavily your heart racing millions of miles per hour.

'Fuck he's so hot!'
R: y/n?

He smiled and took his headphones out and got up to hug you opening his arms you turned away and waved over your nose.

"God, you smell like leather and sweat..."
R: well sorry I was working out.

You walked in behind him as you stepped over the equipment as you grabbed a rag.

"Yeah, I see that."
R: hey I need to lose a few pounds don't judge.
"Hey, you are perfectly healthy the way you are."
R: I know that, it's just...common y/n I'm out of shape.
"(Inhales/exhales) bud...circles are shapes too..."
R: yeah except this circle looks way worse with a gut and doesn't want fatty and gross to be added to the insults he gets every night.

You looked at him and turned your head away. He was sitting on the bed drinking water when he looked at you, realizing that he made you upset.

R: y/n shit I didn't mean you-
"It's fine I get it...(sighs) no one wants to be fat and gross."
R: I didn't mean you were, 'cause you not!
"Right."

You walked away and he followed, you went into your room and he tried walking in before you slammed the door shut it hitting his face as he took a step back and held his nose. You locking it as you stood there crossing your arms tears in your eyes. He stopped rubbing his nose and heard you sniffling a little bit. As he walked away he hit his forehead.

R: stupid...stupid. Stupid.

(Time Skip)
Three hours later
"Can you believe him?"
A- god girl that sounds awful! What a moron!
"I know! He's fucking lucky that I find him cute otherwise I would've beaten his ass."
A- well he isn't the wrong y/n.
"Hey!"
A- no not about you. I mean in my opinion I don't find fat guys attractive.
"Well I do, and I think he's quite handsome this way. And just cause you like muscles-"
A- no no! I like them skinny and scrawny.

You two laughed as you spoke on the phone as you were in your room on your computer. Face timing April. Raph snuck up on your door to hear you talking to April.

A- Are you sure you're ok?
"Yeah...I'll be fine. I've been fat my whole life, I've been called worse."
A- well- (M: AHHH! Donnie wait!) (D: I'm going to kill you!) oh crap I gotta go.
"Bye!"
A- bye girl!

She hung up and you continued working until you heard a knock at the door.

R: hey...can we talk?
"Sure."

He walked in and you turned around and Raph sighed looking at you.

R: I am really really sorry...I didn't mean to do that, I didn't think about your feelings and I'm sorry.
"Raph it's ok really, I'm sorry I overreacted."
R: no! I'm sorry. Your not gross and your not fat, even chubby's pushing it. And I think you are very beautiful...so please don't think that I do because I don't...
