Our anniversary

                          Chapter fourteen

(Time Skip)
Anniversary:
One year, one full year since you and Raph started dating and he promised you a good anniversary. Even though you would've been fine with pizza and staying at home. He was not going to let that be your anniversary. Waking up to get ready for work you saw him with a tray and breakfast.

"Raph, this both looks and smells amazing thank you."
R: of course love. Now, enjoy your breakfast alone, I'll be-
"Wait you're not eating with me?"
R: I thought you'd like a morning to yourself.
"But I want to spend my morning with you..."

You smiled as he nodded kissing you on the cheek.

R: ok, just give me five minutes to get my tray and I'll be right back.
"Ok, honey."

You waited for him to come back up. As he set a beautiful basket of chocolate he made on the table for you to have before you head off to work. He went back up and smiled at you. Sitting down next to you as you enjoyed your meal together while chatting.

"So your not telling me what we're going tonight."
R: Nope it's a surprise.
"Ok, ok. I won't ask again."

Raph smiled and kissed your cheek, he was so happy that he was finally getting to give you a wonderfully perfect day. After eating and getting ready for work you went downstairs and found the chocolates. You picked one up and Raph was excited for you to taste them. When you put it in your mouth you almost started gagging as you spat it out. Breaking Raph's heart.

R: what's wrong with the chocolates?
"Did Mikey make these?"
R:...yes. Yes, he did...
"Well...maybe don't tell him that he accidentally mixed up the sugar with the salt..."
R: what?

He took one and bit into it. Realizing what he did he almost cried.

R: wow...that is...salty.
"(Giggles) although it is funny."

You kissed his cheek and squeezed his arm.

"I have to go to work. I'll talk to you later sweetheart."
R: bye Hun.

You laughed and shook your head not believing that that happened. While Raph got depressed. He had to make sure everything goes well for the rest of the night. While you went to work driving there with April. you two couldn't stop talking about tonight.

A: so any plans for tonight?
"Well I think so, Raph won't tell me what we're doing though."
A: honey don't worry about all you have to do to make him happy is being nude.
"Oh common our relationship is more than just sex."
A: I know I know, but common what more of a perfect gift could the man want?
"(Giggles) you do have a point."

You walked into the office and started working on your next assignment. But you two still talked about what you would wear just for him for your anniversary. And with your luck, one of your co-workers overheard you and scoffed, making you both look at her realizing that it was Brittany.

A: what's your problem?
Girl: well her boyfriend would either be blind, desperate or both to want to sleep with her.
"Hey, my boyfriend and I are in a loving relationship-"
Girl: you living together?
"Well...yes actually I moved in last month."
Girl: even talk about it before doing it?
"Well no not really."
Girl: what about marriage? Kids? Hmm? Did you two talk about that?
"People take their own pace we're not ready to talk about that stuff yet."
Girl: he takes you out on dates, and gives you gifts, does he make it special for anniversaries?

You cleared your throat being nervous.

"He's a very busy guy...but he does sometimes and he's taking me on a surprise date tonight for our anniversary."
Girl: sure he does, and I bet his idea is going to be at your place saying that he just needs you to be happy. But don't listen to me, just say whatever you need to so then you can sleep at night.
