Seeing Kari

                    Chapter Twenty Three

(Time Skip)
Five days later
Well, tomorrow was the day when you would be going back to the city and seeing everyone. Meeting Susan and seeing Kari. And Raph was still contemplating about going. He didn't want to risk you getting hurt again. And he was so scared that if he brought you there she would take you away again. While you slept peacefully in your shared bed with your body pillow, Raph was sitting up on the bed as the porch door was opened with the curtains flying into the room. The cool night was numbing his scales as he looked out there onto the lake that was there, the moon's light reflecting off of it making him hum. Wondering what to do, thinking about not taking you to the lair. He couldn't risk it, he loves you and wants you to be safe. You buried yourself deeper into the blankets making him look back at you softly touching your hair making you hum and leaned towards his hand. Looking at your belly he laid down and put his head on the side of your belly rubbing it gently as he lay there. Hearing their hearts beating he exhaled and rubbed your lower back.

"Honey..."

You looked down at him as he looked back up at you making him move upward on the bed and face your face to face. Locking your eyes as you put your hands on his chest.

"You ok?"
R: I don't think we should go...
"Raph..."
R: I don't trust her y/n.
"If Leo trusts her...then we can try, can't we? If she truly has changed. Then maybe she can be a new friend...or maybe something more to Leo. Plus...I know you won't let anyone lay a finger on me, not even your brothers."

He smiled as you nuzzled noses Raph pulling you in as far as he could. Which wasn't much.

R: never again...never.

He kissed you and he held you as you looked up at him as your head was underneath his chin. You loved that still after so long, he was still as protective as he was when he found you. And you couldn't help but smile. You couldn't love him more even if you tried to.

R: ok...ok fine...we'll...we'll go.
"Thank you love."
R: but that doesn't mean I'm letting her near you. I don't trust her...(exhale) but if you...are then.
"Thank you...I know it isn't easy for you to do stuff like this."

He looked at you and you kissed him. It wasn't easy for him to trust people, especially when their cons who's tried killing you before.

"I love you."
R: I love you too.

He held you to his body his hands on your lower back and belly. You blushed and slowly started falling asleep and soon after so did Raph. He just didn't want you getting hurt, and he was going to make sure that Kari doesn't go near you. He loves the guys, he does. And would do anything for them. But you and your safety come fist.

(Time Skip)
Two days later
Two days later in the early morning the two of you got your things into the RV. And by that, Raph got everything into the RV then helped you get to the RV and helped get you comfortable. You've gotten too big for the front seat so you had to sit on the bed. Which you were ok with, long naps were the one thing you wanted, well that and food. He finished getting things in as you got yourself comfortable on the bed. Your pillows arranged in a nest like shape with blankets and movies with books. You got a snack on a board as you grabbed a book on how to take care of baby's, then a book on how to take care of turtles. You wanted all of the information you could possibly need to raise your children. While Raph got into the front seat and looked back at you.

R: you comfy?
"Yep, all good here."
R: good. If you need anything just let me know.
"I will-I will."

He looked at you as you started reading a book, as he smiled and started playing music. The whole way there he kept looking back at you to make sure you were ok.
