Creatures hooted and screeched as the Gungan who she had learned was called 'JarJar' led them further into the forest. "How much further?" Qui-Gon asked. "Wesa goen underwater, okeyday?" JarJar said, pointing at the lake in front of them. "Ah, my warning you. Gungans no liken outsiders, so don't spect a warm welcome" He said, leading them to the edge of the lake "Don't worry, our last 'warm welcome' had us being shot at" Sylvie said.
With a loud screech, the Gungan leaped high up into the air before diving into the water. The Jedi put on equipment to help them breathe underwater before wading into the water to join him. "Yousa follow me now, okeyday?" JarJar said, popping up to the surface before going underway with the Jedi who swam after the Gungan. Sylvie nearly gasped aloud as Gunga city came into view. She had visited many planets in her time as a Jedi padawan but Gunga city was definitely on her list of the more breath taking ones.
There were hundreds, maybe thousands of elegantly shaped orbs in the water alight with a warm golden orange glow, each of different sizes and all connected through tubes. JarJar lead them to the biggest one there, standing on a small platform that stuck out. Sylvie looked at what might have been a transparent door but it didn't open, instead JarJar just walked through it and it allowed him in, rippling when he and the Jedi walked in.
"So good bein home!" JarJar cried out. "Hush JarJar, you're in exile remember" Sylvie reminded him as the nearby Gungans gasped, breaking into murmurs at the sight of him and began walking away looking nervous. She looked around at the Gungans, for what had JarJar been exiled for that could be so bad? There was an odd call as a grey Gungan on top of an equally odd creature stopped in front of them "Hey yousa! Stopa dare!" he ordered. "Heyo dales Cap'n Tarpals, Mesa back!" JarJar waved.
"Yousa goen tada bosses. Yousa in big doodoo dis time" The Gungan 'Captain Tarpals' said. JarJar lowered his head sadly. Another guard came up to them and lightly electrocuted JarJar "How wude!" He gasped.
"Day come too" Captain Tarpals said, pointing his spear at the three Jedi. Sylvie let out a short yelp, quickly silencing herself as two other guards came up behind her and electrocuted her with the end of their spear looking weapons. "I'm going, I'm going" she said, holding her hands up in surrender for a few moments before starting forward with the other two Jedi. She stepped closer to Obi-Wan, watching the guards warily

The Gungan guards led JarJar and the Jedi through a couple of different orbs and tubes (she wasn't sure what they were called) before finally stopping at one where five large Gungans, the bosses, sat in a half circle at the end. Qui-Gon explained their situation. One of the bosses, a green Gungan. Made a series of tsk noises. "Yousa cannot bees here. Dis army of Mackineeks up dare is you weesong" he said. "A droid army is about to attack Naboo. We must warn them" Qui-Gon said while Obi-Wan and Sylvie stood to the side a little bit back while JarJar stood in a corner of the room with two other Gungan guards flanking either side of the handcuffed orange Gungan who looked rather depressed "Wesa no like da Naboo" the boss said, making another series of loud clicking noises that echoed around the room. "Da Naboo tink day so smarty. Day tink day brains so big"
"Once those droids take control of the surface, they will take control of you too" Obi-Wan said, stepping forward. "Mesa no tink so. Day not know of ussen" The boss said. "You and the Naboo form a symbiont circle, what happens to them happens to you" Sylvie said, stepping forward as well. "Wesa no carrren about da Naboo" The boss said, making a short blubbering sound when he said the 'r' "Then speed us on our way" Qui-Gon said "Wesa ganna speed yousa away"
"We could use a transport" He said,
"Wesa give yousa una bongo. Da speediest way tooda Naboo tis goen through the planet core" The boss said, giving them a wicked smile. "Now... Go" he said, his voice threateningly deep. "Thank you for your help, we leave in peace" Qui-Gon said, giving him a quick bow along with the two Padawans. "Master, what's a bongo?" Obi-Wan asked quietly. "A transport, I hope" The Jedi knight responded."Deysa setten yousa up" JarJar spoke "Goen through da planet core? Bad bombin" Qui-Gon stopped momentarily before continuing with Obi-Wan and Sylvie. "Mmm... Any help here would be hot" He chuckled nervously. Sylvie didn't glance back at him, while she did feel bad for him there were considerably more pressing matters than a Gungan outcast. Qui-Gon stopped once again and turned to him. "Master, we're short on time as it is" Obi-Wan said.
"We need a navigator to get us through the planet's core. This Gungan may be of help" The Jedi knight looked at JarJar pointedly. "What is to become of JarJar Binks here?'' he asked the boss, stepping forward with Sylvie. "Hisensoon to be puneished" He said. "I have his life, he owes me what you call a 'life debt' your gods demand that his life belongs to me now" Qui-Gon said. "Binkssss" The boss hissed "Yousa haven a live play with thisen hisen?" He asked. "Uh huh" JarJar nodded.
There was loud blubbering from the boss as his saliva flew everywhere. Cringing lightly, Sylvie stepped back. "Begone wit him!" The boss ordered. Qui-Gon bowed again before he moved away. "Count me Outta dis one" JarJar said as a guard removed his shackles. "Better dead here than dead in da core" He said. Neither of the Jedi payed any heed to his worfs "Ye gods! What mesa sayin'?" He cried, throwing his hands up exasperatedly as he followed after the Jedi.
