Sylvie wasn't sure just how long she had been out for but when she awoke the first thing that hit her was a dull throb at the back of her head as she groggily opened her eyes. A wave of confusion followed before she recalled what had happened, destroyers ambushed her and Obi-Wan, the holo call cut and she'd gotten hit. She fell unconscious, waking just a little later, she remembered a glimpse of a bacta tank before she fell back into unconsciousness.

Now she was here, her limbs were shackled apart by an electric blue light that let out a soft hum, just barely audible. Sylvie looked all around her but didn't see anybody else. Only dark red walls with intricate carvings etched into the walls. A mechanical grinding noise drew her attention in front of her. She glowered at the person in front of her, lifting her chin defiantly as he approached.

"Master Kryze" Hatro Yoran said, stopping right in front of her. "Master Yoran" She said as civilly as she could, the venom and disdain evident in her voice. If he picked up on it he showed no signs of it. "I must ask, what are you doing all the way out here on Geonosis?" He asked. "I could ask you the same thing. Last time I checked you were dispatched to Naator where your communications were suddenly cut" Sylvie responded.

"I was" Hatro nodded "But during my mission my communications were knocked out and eventually my assignment led me to Geonosis where the Count graciously offered me assistance" he said, gesturing for her to tell her side. "I and Master Kenobi were assigned to find and track down a bounty hunter called Jango Fett. I don't suppose you know him" Sylvie said, tilting her head to the side.

"No, unfortunately I don't. You must be mistaken, there are no bounty hunters. The Geonosians don't trust them" he replied though she was easily able to pick up on his lie or at least, his half truth. "And who can blame them" Sylvie said, looking down at the Zabrak-Twi'lek with narrowed eyes. "Ofcourse, you aren't much better, are you traitor?" she asked coldly.

He feigned shock and hurt at her accusation. "I assure you Jedi Kryze I am no such thing" She raised a skeptical eyebrow at his words, there were so many holes in the short explanation he had offered her. She wasn't even sure if he was even trying. Master Yoran was clever, and patient. The latter was the reason Alina had been assigned to him. Not only that but he was usually assigned to undercover missions...

"Then tell me why you were seen conspiring with the Confederate of Independent Systems against your fellow Jedi" Sylvie said. "It is not the Jedi we were conspiring again, no" Hatro denied "I joined them because they have a vision. A vision of a better world. One without the corruption of the republic and council" he said "And a vision of a world with a sith lord in power" The Jedi knight pointed out.

"Master Kryze, we are already in a world with a Sith lord in power" Hatro said, waving a hand dismissively. Silence. He blinked once, a slow smile spreading onto his face as the confusion in Sylvie's eyes and the frown on her face. "Ah yes... The Jedi are not yet aware despite the years he has been in office" Sylvie's frown deepened "So much for the legendary force powers of the Jedi Council..." Hatro shook his head and tsked.

"What do you think you know?" Sylvie asked. She wasn't met with a response. "What do you think you know?" She asked again, a note of impatience in her voice. "The truth" The Zabrak-Twi'lek said simply. Sylvie didn't ask again, he was trying to rile her up. She refused to let him. Hatro chuckled lightly at her silence "Chancellor Palpatine is the Sith Lord we have been looking for" He said finally, watching carefully as her eyes widened, he could see her processing the new information just dropped on her.

"Lies are the way of the dark side. Manipulation. Cunning." She shook her head stubbornly "Chancellor Palpatine cannot be the Sith Lord. Some of the greatest Jedi of our time have sat with him and yet they sensed nothing"

"The dark side clouds their vision. The Council has admitted to that much" Hatro said. "Then tell me, how did you come across this information?" Sylvie asked, if she made it out of this alive then she would need to provide as much information to the Jedi Council as possible. "Count Dooku showed me the truth about the Republic's corruption. The Confederacy are the only ones who see past the lies of the Sith" Hatro stated.

"How? By joining them?" Sylvie asked "I could sense the dark side radiating from both you and the Count. The both of you have turned to the very thing we swore to protect the galaxy from"

"No, we swore to protect the galaxy from corruption. Now the Republic has become that corruption and if fulfilling my oath means being forced to turn against my fellow Jedi then so be it" Silence followed his declaration until it was broken "Ofcourse... I would like for all of you to see the truth, to join us" Hatro continued in a softer tone as he gazed at Sylvie who stared back warily. "Your intentions are pure, Yoran, don't let the dark side twist them into wickedness" She murmured.

"It's the Jedi who have twisted it... Once we were a mighty, righteous order. Now we are mere shadows of a former greatness. We've fallen worse than the Sith" He pulled a device out of his robes, his thumb hovered over one of the buttons. "Join us" he offered "Fulfill the oath we swore. Weed out the corruption once and for all" Sylvie stared at him silently, she thought about lying but she knew he was capable of detecting it through the force.

When she didn't respond he retracted his hand "I'll let you think over my offer Jedi Kryze. If you have not decided to see the truth by the time I return I will be forced to do some very unpleasant things"

Update after a long time! I'm really sorry. I swear I didn't mean to take this long to update... Anyway, I'll try to write two chapters to try and make up for it.
