Alina watched as several Jedi appeared from seemingly nowhere, igniting their lightsabers and taking combative stances. She couldn't stop the grin that appeared on her face, even if she knew that she and Anakin would be getting the lecture of their life when this was all over. Anakin spurred the Reek forward into the lines of the Jedi. Four knights tossed them spare lightsabers.

The Reek let out a cry of pain and reared up as it was struck, knocking the riders off its back. Alina ignited the green lightsaber, deflecting the blaster shots of the droids nearest to her before slicing them in half. She found it much easier to deal with them as they never had a life in the first place. However much they fought countless droids simply replaced the ones that they had cut down.

A few blaster bolts landed near her, just narrowly missing her leg. These didn't come from the droids around them, they came from somewhere above. Another blaster bolt, this time a Zabrak Jedi next to her fell with a blaster bolt to the heart. She looked up in the direction it came from, in the shadows of the stands she could just see a black rifle sticking out. She looked around, Sylvie was nearest to her, she ran over to the Jedi knight

"I need you to cover me. I'm going to take down the sharpshooter" Alina said, pointing her lightsaber in the direction where she saw the blaster bolt come from. Sylvie just nodded in response. Alina went over to the nearest pillar, using the force to jump as high as she could before striking her lightsaber into the wall. She clung to it firmly with both hands as she tried to find footing on the red rock. From here she looked down at the battlefield.

Droid parts were scattered on the sand but there were just as many robed figures and silver hilts lying about. So many dead Jedi... But there were about to be a lot more if she didn't hurry up. This was potentially a really stupid idea... Oh well.

She angled herself to face the stands, pulling the lightsaber out of the wall as she leaped, just barely managing to grab onto one of the triangular arches carved into it. Alina threw the lightsaber in and pulled herself up next. She picked it up, following the sound of blaster shots. Boba must have seen her coming because the moment she found him she was nearly shot through the head and chest but managed to block both.

Alina stuck out a hand, using the force to knock him back against the nearest wall. It helped that he was wearing his helmet, it made it easier to think of him as somebody else and not her friend. She moved closer to him but he stuck out a hand, releasing a stream of fire. Kriff. She moved back, sticking out a hand to block the flame, narrowly avoiding being burnt. The fire disappeared, only to be replaced by some sort of smoke which made it hard to see. She frowned, it would make things harder.

She knew how to deflect hits blind but she didn't want to accidentally hit anything vital. Enemy or not, the last thing she wanted was to kill anybody. That included Bounty Hunters who wanted to kill her. She held her lightsaber at the ready, eying the fog warily. She turned, moving the green blade to intercept the red bolt. It reflected off her lightsaber and hit the stone wall. Two more blaster bolts came at her only to be deflected as well. The fog was slowly clearing, allowing for more visibility. There.

She noticed a figure move through the mist, disappearing as soon as it came. Alina slowly moved into the fog before pausing and closing her eyes as she stretched out with the force. She suddenly turned back, shoving the clone against the side of the triangular arch that overlooked the arena, her lightsaber hovered inches from his throat. She hesitated for a second. A second was all he needed. Her lightsaber flew out of her hand and into the arena below and now she was the one pressed against the wall with a knife against her throat.

'Where does he keep getting these weapons from?' She would have asked had she not been in a position where her throat would have been cut if she dare speak. Of all the ways she expected to die she never imagined it at the hands of somebody she'd considered a friend just a day ago. That would teach her to listen to Sylvie more often and to not make friends with Bounty Hunters. If she lived, that is.

The killing slice she expected never came, instead his grip on her loosened. Alina gave him a confused look, was he messing with her? But he wasn't even looking at her, his gaze was firmly glued to a silver figure in the arena. A silver figure without a head. She watched as Jango's body fell to the ground, his head flew out of his helmet and landed a little bit away from the silver dome. Master Windu stood next to the body. Kriff. She should have taken advantage of Boba's distraction, taken the upper hand.

That would be the smart thing to do. But she couldn't. Not now. Not when the pain in his eyes so closely matched the one in hers. In Anakin's. She gently pushed herself out of his grip, she was sympathetic not stupid. He'd kill her the moment he snapped out of it. She used the force to summon his rifle to her, she didn't need him killing any more Jedi. As she turned to leave she hesitated, she wanted to comfort him but she liked living just as much so she did nothing. She turned and leaped back into the Arena, rejoining the battle.
