The next day they stood in the Jedi Council's chambers, recounting the events of last night to the Jedi Masters. "Track down this bounty hunter you must Obi-Wan, Sylvie" Yoda stated. "Most importantly, find out who he's working for" Master Windu added. "What about Senator Amidala? She'll still need protecting" Sylvie asked. "Handle that, the Skywalkers will" The Grandmaster said. Both Jedi knights glanced at the two padawans who kept a neutral look on their faces. "Actually" Mace Windu cut in "I think it would be better if Alina Skywalker went with Mastee Obi-Wan and Sylvie" he said. Alina fought to keep a sour expression of her face. He hated it when the Jedi Council attempted to seperate her and Anakin for the sake of no attachments being formed. "But what does Master Yoran think about me going with them? My master will assume I'm at Naboo" she pointed out. "We are currently unable to reach Master Hatro Yoran but we are quite certain he wouldn't mind" Master Windu replied simply before looking at Anakin, silently declaring his decision final.
"Anakin, escort the Senator back to her home planet of Naboo. She'll be safer there and don't use registered transport. Travel as refugees" he said. "As the leader of the opposition it will be very difficult to get Senator Amidala to leave the capital" Anakin stated. "Until caught this killer is our judgment she must respect" Yoda said. "Go to the Senate and ask Chancellor Palpatine to speak with her about the matter" Master Windu said.
The two knights and padawans bowed to the Jedi Masters in unison before moving out of the door.

Not overly fond of the Chancellor's presence, Alina allowed Anakin to talk to him while she waited for him outside. Chancellor Palpatine had kept his word and talked to the Senator about the matter. Now both Skywalkers waited in the hallway leading to Padmé's room as she instructed JarJar on what to do in her absence "I'm taking an extended leave of absence. It will be your responsibility to take my place in the Senate" Padmé stated. "Representative Binks, I know I can count on you" Alina lightly nudged Anakin who was staring at the Senator. "You know at this rate everybody in the galaxy will know about your 'secret' crush right?" She whispered. "I'm not that obvious" Anakin defended "Besides, you and Obi-Wan are the only ones who noticed"
"Mesa honored to taking on dissa heavy burden" JarJar said. "Mesa accept this muy muy humility and uh-" He was cut off by Padmé "JarJar. I don't wish to hold you up" she interrupted "I'm sure you have a great deal to do" she dismissed him politely. "Ofcourse Milady" he dipped his head in response before moving away while the Senator made her way over to where the two Padawans were "I do not like this idea of hiding" she said, moving past them briskly. "Don't worry. Now that that council has ordered an investigation it won't take Obi-Wan and Sylvie long to find this bounty hunter" Anakin assured her as they entered her room. "I haven't worked for over a year to defeat the Military Creation Act to not be here when its fate is decided" Padmé said as she put her clothes into her suitcase.
"Sometimes we must let go of our pride and do what is requested of us" Anakin said. Alina raised an eyebrow, giving her brother a look. When did he get this mature? "Anakin, you've grown up" The Senator remarked "Master Obi-Wan manages not to see it" he responded. Alina stopped a sigh, she got that her brother was frustrated with his Master but just how many Obi-Wan rants was he going to give? She chose to help Padmé fold and pack her dresses into the suitcase. Anakin made his way over to the window, picking up a brown ball "Don't get me wrong. Obi-Wan is a great mentor" he levitated the ball using the force "As wise as Master Yoda and as powerful as Maged Windu" he moved the ball back into his hand "I am truly thankful to be his apprentice"
He placed the ball back on its stand "In some ways... In a lot of ways I'm really ahead of him. I'm ready for the trials but he feels that I'm too unpredictable. He won't let me move on" He said. Alina had to stifle another sigh, she loved her brother a lot, really, she did but at times he could be quite whiny and childish. "That must be frustrating" Padmé sympathized "It's worse. He's overly critical. He never listens. He- he doesn't understand. It's not fair!" Anakin ranted. "All mentors have a way of seeing more of our faults than we would like" The Senator stated "It's the only way we grow. Anakin sat down on the bed next to the suitcase "I know" he sighed as Padmé put in another dress before turning to the Padawan. "Anakin..." She moved closer to him "Don't try to grow up too fast"
"But I am grown up. You said it yourself" He stood up, a few inches taller than Padmé herself. Alina who was about to put another dress in the suitcase paused midway as her brother gave Padmé a look that looked borderline creepy. She'd already accepted that she'd have to deal with a lot of Anakin's bad flirting, lovesickness and that she would be a third wheel but she hadn't expected it to be this bad. Nor had she expected it before the trip even began. "Please don't look at me like that" The Senator said. "Why not?" He asked in a whisper "It makes me feel uncomfortable" Padmé said curtly before moving away from him. "Sorry Milady" Anakin said, continuing to stare at her with a small smile. Alina rolled her eyes, moving to put the dress suitcase before she looked up at her older brother with a disapproving look in her eyes "You know you look like a complete creep when you do that right?"

Alina stood up as they entered the spaceport. "Be safe Milday" Captain Typho said "Thank you Captain" Padmé responded. "Take good care of Dormé, the threat's on you two now" she said. "He'll be safe with me" the Handmaiden and doppelganger, Dormé responded with a smile before a tear rolled down her cheek. "You'll be fine" Padmé comforted "It's not me Milady, I worry about you. What if they realize you've left the Capital?" Dormé whispered. "Well then my Jedi protectors will have to prove how good they are" The Senator responded with a smile, glancing back at the two Padawans. "Well if I was there then safety would be guaranteed but Anakin's is your protector..." Alina trailed off with a shrug.
"Anakin" She turned around to face Obi-Wan who cut in before Anakin could retort "Don't do anything without first consulting either myself, Sylvie or the council" he said sternly. "Yes, Master" Anakin said. The Jedi knight then moved to stand next to Padmé "Me, Alina and Sylvie will get to the bottom of this plot quickly Milady. You'll be back here in no time" he assured "I will be most grateful for your speed Master Jedi" Padmé responded as Obi-Wan gave her a bow. "It's time to go" Anakin prompted "I know" The Senator responded, murmuring goodbyes to her Captain and Handmaiden. "Anakin, May the force be with you" Obi-Wan said. "And with you" Alina nodded "May the force be with you, Master" Anakin said before exiting the Speeder with Senator Amidala.
