Alina listened curiously as the pilot explained the controls of the starship to her and Anakin. "Those are the forward stabilizers" he said. "And those two control the pitch?" Anakin asked, pointing to two buttons. "You catch on pretty quick" The Pilot smiled. He continued to explain the controls of the ship, telling them what all the buttons did and how they worked as they entered the atmosphere and landed on Naboo.
Alina wasn't sure what was going on but she went along with it, sticking close to her brother, Padme, Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon. Mainly Anakin though. They were waiting in a misty forest for JarJar, apparently he'd gone to get the Gungans. She didn't know what a Gungan was until Obi-Wan explained to her that Gungans were JarJar's species.
"Desa nobody dere" JarJar said, approaching the two Jedi and the head guard as he came out of the water. The Skywalkers stood further back with the Queen and her handmaidens "The Gungan city is completely deserted. Some kind of fight mesa tinks" he said. Alina glanced up at Anakin, that didn't sound like a good thing.
"Do you think they have been taken to the camps?" Obi-Wan asked Qui-Gon "More likely they were wiped out" The head guard said. "Mesa no tink so" JarJar said. "Do you know where they are JarJar?" Qui-Gon asked. "When in trouble Gungans go to sacred place" He responded. "What does that mean?" Alina asked Anakin in a whisper. "It means they have a special place they go to when there's trouble" he whispered back. "Mesa show you. Come on, mesa show you!" JarJar pushed past Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan
Although the sacred place wasn't too far away it was far enough to tire out a six year old. JarJar led them deeper into the swamp and on their way they were stopped by a few Gungan guards. They looked like JarJar other than their color which was very different though she was glad to see the Eopies that they were riding, those creatures were much more familiar to her. Alina kept close to Anakin and Obi-Wan as the Gungan guards led them to their boss with their spears pointed at them.
She looked around the place curiously. There were large grey statue heads dotted around the place. The trees were just as high and dense as the rest of the forest but now there was a path that they could walk on. Alina just hoped that they'd reach the Boss soon, she was starting to get tired. "Your Honor, Queen Amidala of the Naboo" The guard in the lead said.
Once they came to a stop in front of the Boss Alina sat down on the ground, she didn't understand at least half the things, her legs were tired, she was cold and she couldn't really care about a little bit of mud on her dress. "Uh h-heyo dadee Big Boss Nass your Honour" JarJar said nervously. "JarJar Binks" Boss Nass boomed "Who's da ussen uthers?" he asked."I am Queen Amidala of the Naboo, I come before you in peace" The Queen said. "Ah, Naboo biggen. Yousa bring da Mackineeks. Yousa all bombad" Boss Nass rumbled. "We have searched you out because we wish to form an alliance your honor" Queen Amidala stated. Suddenly Padme moved out of the crowd, stepping forward. "Whosa dis?" The Boss asked. "I am Queen Amidala" Padme responded. Alina's eyes widened as she exchanged surprised looks with Anakin. Surprised murmurs broke out through all the gathered people. Padme turned to the Queen "This is my decoy, my protection, my loyal bodyguard" she stated. "I'm sorry for my deception but it was necessary to protect myself"
"Although we do not always agree, your honor, our two great societies have always lived in peace. The trade federation has destroyed all we have worked to build, if we do not act quickly all will be lost forever. I ask you to help us" Padme said before getting down on her knees "No, I beg you to help us. We are your humble servants, our fate is in your hands"
Everybody began following Padme's example, getting down on their knees and bowing to the Gungan boss. Alina was already sitting, she just moved a little to match the others. The Boss looked down at them, considering them for a few moments of very tense silence until. "Ha!" Boss Nass began laughing. Alina exchanged looks with her brother. "Yousa no tinken yousa greater den da Gungans?" he chuckled deeply "Meeeeesa lika dis. Maybe wesa bein friends" he said before breaking out into a fit of blubbering. The Naboo began to cheer loudly.

Alina stood beside her brother while a yellow Gungan guard kept watch from atop the head of a grey statue. "Theysa coming!" he yelled down. "Alright!" Anakin yelled back. The two Skywalkers ran as fast as they could over to where Qui-Gon, Obi-Wan and Padme stood near a sleek blue speeder. "They're here!" Alina yelled. "Good, they made it" Padme said, relief evident in her voice.
Three speeders identical to the one they were near came, each of them was filled with Naboo guards. Alina watched as they made their way across the plain field, getting ready for the battle with the trade federation's droid armies. The Captain made his way towards them "Your highness" he said, bowing to Padme. "What is the situation?" she asked. "Almost everyone's in camps, a few hundred police and guards have formed an underground resistance movement. I brought back as many leaders as I could" The Captain reported before turning to look at Boss Nass. "The federation's army is also much larger than we thought and much stronger" he turned back to the Queen "Your Highness, I do not think this is battle we can win"
"The battle is a diversion" Padme responded "The Gungans must draw the droid armies away from the cities. R2" she prompted the astromech who played a holomap of the cities and palace. "We can enter the city using the secret passages on the waterfall side" The map zoomed in, showing their route. "Once we get to the main entrance Captain Panaka will create a diversion. Then, we can enter the palace and capture the viceroy. Without the viceroy they will be lost and confused"
Padme turned her head to look at Qui-Gon "What do you think master Jedi?" she asked. "The viceroy will be well guarded" he responded. "The difficulty is getting into the throne room" Captain Panaka said. "Once we're inside we shouldn't have a problem" he stated "There is a possibility, with this diversion many Gungans will be killed" The Jedi knight continued. "Wesa ready to do oursa part" Boss Nass replied.
"We have a plan which should immobilize the droid army" Padme continued. "We will send what pilots we have to knock out the droid control ship orbiting the planet" Obi-Wan turned his head to look at his master questioningly. "A well conceived plan however there's a great risk. The weapons on your fighters may not penetrate the shields" Qui-Gon pointed out "And there's an even bigger danger" Obi-Wan stated. Alina's mind flickered back to that time on Tatooine when they were leaving and that person on the speeder bike with a black cloak attacked them.
"If the viceroy escapes your Highness he will return with another droid army" Obi-Wan continued "Well, that is why we must not fail to get the viceroy" Padme responded cooly. "Everything depends on it"
