Alhaitam , the genius in Teyvat Highschool is quite a mysterious person. He is only interested in things that pique his interest. He's not a sociable person nor can't even communicate properly due to his hearing problems. He has suffered with deafness ever since as a child. Many people had judged him due to his disability, but does he even care at all? The answer is no.

The prom is just around the corner. Alhaitam has no date, of course. Who even wants him?
Little do you know that his silly guy has a crush on his blondie best friend, Kaveh . The only person who dared to talk to him, helping him when he's dealing with his disability and arguing with a smart brain of his.
They may seem to have a bad relationship, but they're not. They are each other's comfort. But that doesn't mean Kaveh feels the same thing towards Alhaitam too, right?
What if Kaveh finds him disgusting?
What if Kaveh told everyone about his sexuality to everyone and left him ?
What if Kaveh rejects him and never talks to him ever again?
Those keep repeating like a loop in Alhaitam's mind. He is afraid of losing another friend for revealing his true self. He once came out to his friends and they left him rot just like that.

Alhaitam is thinking of confessing his romantic feelings to Kaveh. He couldn't keep it anymore. He wants Kaveh. He wants to be called as Kaveh's. He wants to be loved by Kaveh. He needs Kaveh. Suddenly while he was in his own thoughts, his phone buzzed.

Annoying Blondie 💗 :
Yo Haitam , got any date yet?

No , not even interested to have one.

The prom is going to start tonight. Alhaitam is getting ready to impress his soon to be valentine . He was looking down at his phone , contacting the blondie.

Annoying Blondie 💗:

He puts his phone inside his pocket and goes outside to see Kaveh .
He is leaning on his car, wearing a very elegant suit while holding a bouquet of flowers.
Alhaitam's cheeks fully cherish pink. He is mesmerized by the view. He likes them , no , he loves them .
" What's with the look ?"
Kaveh smirked.
" Oh shut up, we're late . "
Alhaitam shoots.

Once they nearly arrived, Alhaitam's hands were shaking so bad. He wants to tell Kaveh how he felt . He really wants to tell Kaveh how he felt. Suddenly, a call popped out from Kaveh's car screen(?).

" Love 💗 ".

He is shocked. Very shocked. He felt his heart aching. Who is this " love?" Who is she? Who is he? Who are they? What is their relationship with Kaveh? Who? Why? Those keep repeating in his head for so long. He nearly cried there. He hates being a pathetic that cries over a stupid monkey love. He hates it.

" Ah, sorry that was my date, let me answer her call !"
Kaveh adds .
So it's " her ". Heh, bet he's straight then. He is so stupid for thinking that Kaveh would fall for him. Such a stupid mindset.

Once they arrived , a girl ran to Kaveh and hugged him. He just stood there , frozed. Didn't know what to do .
" Sorry Haitam , i had to go now. Hope ya get to dance with your date !"
Kaveh leaves while hugging the girl by the waist.
" Yeah.. goodbye Kaveh."
He is holding his own tears. He's trying. He wants to be her. He wants to be her so bad. He wants to be the person that Kaveh would chase, do anything for. Jealousy took over him.

He is sitting on the corner , looking at the people dancing. He was watching Kaveh. He's dancing with a girl. He wants to be that girl so bad. Kaveh is dancing while holding the petite girl's waist and kissing her.

Alhaitam couldn't take it anymore. He wants to stop this. But he doesn't want to make a drama.

" We are here to announce the prom queen and king. The prom king and queen for this year is.."
The voice echoes in the hall. Everyone was waiting for the answer. Even Alhaitam.

" Kaveh of Kshahrewar and Lucinda of Haravatat !

Alhaitam froze there. Everyone was cheering up for the couple . What hurts Alhaitam more is to see them , kissing passionately. It seems so sincere that it makes something flow from Alhaitam's eyes. Tears. He hated crying. He finds them pathetic. He tried to hold it in but he couldn't anymore. Everything is so loud. Everything hurts . It hurts his chest.

He ran out from the hall and took off his hearing aids while running and put them inside his pocket. He wants everyone to shut up. It's too loud. Too loud. His head hurts so bad.
Suddenly, a bright light gets closer to him. Something heavy hit him . No, it's not something, it's a car .

His vision is blurry, he's a bleeding mess, his hands are twitching. He needs Kaveh. He needs Kaveh to hold his hands. He is afraid. He is scared of dying. Too scared .
" K-kaveh.. i-im sorry.. "
He coughs. He felt so cold. He needs someone to warm him up.
Suddenly, someone approached him . Someone that he needed the most.
" Alhaitam! Alhaitam! Wake up !"
Kaveh shouted. His hands were shaking. He was pumping Alhaitam's chest hoping he'll wake up.

"K-kaveh.. i c-cant hear you.. i-im so sorry .. "

" I love you so much.. "
His last few breaths ended that way.

" No no no no Haitam wake up please! I should be the one who said sorry! Please.. don't leave me too.."
Kaveh laid his head on Alhaitam's chest. Sobbing could be heard from far away. He regrets it. So so much. He regrets that he couldn't make Alhaitam's wish come true.

He regrets it.

They do make a promise that till death do us part , but he didn't expect it to end this way. He never does. He kissed Alhaitam's forehead and then kissed him next while putting Haitam's body on his lap .

" Till death do us part, Alhaitam. I am so sorry for not listening to what you have to say to me. We'll meet again in another life. I love you too , Alhaitam. "
