Tears. His pillow is soaked and wet with salty painful tears.

" Haitam? Haitam?? Honey??"
He opened his eyes . He saw a familiar figure. A  tall slender guy with yellow golden hair and red ruby eyes is looking at him, worried.

His eyes felt puffy and itchy. His chest hurt. His breathing was so fast. What happened? What was that just now? What actually.. happened?

Kaveh slipped a hearing aid on his left ear.
" You finally woke up ! You were a crying mess , sweetheart.. i am so worried.. "
Kaveh hugged him.
" What happened? Bad dream? "

Alhaitam nodded. He hugged Kaveh and put his head on Kaveh's shoulder, sobbing. He's so scared. Scared of dying and losing Kaveh.

" I dream about us .. y-you left me with a girl and kissed her .. i was so scared that you'll leave me.. And then i-"

He got cut off by Kaveh's kiss. Again. Kaveh was cupping his face while wiping those tears away.

Kaveh understood the situation.
"Shh .. that's just a bad dream, dear. "
Alhaitam hugged him tightly . His anxiety crippling up again. Kaveh knows what's going on. Kaveh knows how Alhaitam is afraid of losing people due to his past.

" I love you "
Kaveh signed .

Alhaitam chuckled. " I love you too, Kaveh. "
He stuttered. Suddenly, Kaveh jumped from the bed and carried him in bridal style.
" Let's take a shower, hm? " He giggles.
Alhaitam rubbed his eyes and nodded .
" I must take off my hearing aids , then . "
Kaveh took it off and put them on the table beside their bed.

" Stop splashing water on my hair, idiot"
Alhaitam signed.
" How about, no? "
Kaveh signed back. He loves teasing his little husband. It's fun seeing him angry and all annoyed by him . Only Kaveh can annoy him.

Only Kaveh can.

Kaveh hugged Alhaitam's body from behind , trailing his body with his slender hands from Alhaitam's thighs to face, cupping it. Kaveh's touch makes Alhaitam shivers. Kaveh gives Alhaitam's neck small kisses .

" That tickles Kaveh. "
Alhaitam signed while being a blushing mess.
" Good. "
Kaveh signed back.
Kaveh's head was hit by a bottle of shampoo.

After a while,
They're having breakfast, a simple one. A bowl of mushroom soup with garlic bread. Just something that could warm themselves up during this rainy season at Sumeru. The room is filled with sounds of clacking bowls and raining sounds hitting the window.

Alhaitam still couldn't forget about that dream. He's overthinking again.
" What if Kaveh has met Lucinda? I mean we used to be in the same class during highschool.. it's impossible, right.. right?"
He's drowning himself in those negative thoughts..

Kaveh realized that Alhaitam wasn't eating.
" Honey , you good?"
Kaveh said.

His hearing aid beeps.
" Oh yeah yeah, sorry i was in my own thoughts."
Alhaitam replied. Alhaitam just stared at the food instead of actually eating it.
Kaveh knows something was wrong.

" Tell me what happened, Al Haitam ."
Alhaitam's eyes widen. Kaveh usually never calls him " Alhaitam " . He usually calls him "Haitam" or any pet names. But Alhaitam? Only when he's pissed or mad .

"It's not important, Kaveh."
He said .
" It is important, I'm your husband . Seeing you all moody like this makes me moody too. "
Kaveh groaned. He dislikes it when he sees Alhaitam all moody like this.

" It's just about the dream again.."
Alhaitam finally spoke after staring at each other for about a minute. " By any chance, do you know a girl named Lucinda? She's in the same class as mine ."
Alhaitam asked. Waiting for a response.
Kaveh gave a confused look.
" Lucinda? I don't know her. I mean, her name is familiar but i never contact or try to talk to her. She gives me bad vibes. "
Kaveh replies. Her name is quite familiar since she's in the same class as Alhaitam's, but he never talks to her. They've bumped into each other a few times. But trying to get to know each other? Not even once .

That answer made Alhaitam calm down. If he actually knows Lucinda, it's going to be more painful. Lucinda is famous for her bitchy personality. For your information too, she actually has a crush on Kaveh too. Alhaitam remembered that she once asked him to send a love letter to Kaveh. Instead, he rips them off and throws them inside the bin . In an excuse , his parents read them and threw them away.

" You shouldn't worry too much about the dream. It's just a nightmare. Besides, I'm here with you.. eating peacefully with you.. staying at home peacefully with you.."

Kaveh broke the silence . Alhaitam's hand was held by Kaveh's hand. Kaveh was playing around with the ring on Alhaitam's fingers. Their marriage ring. The warmth hits his fingers. The warmth that can calm him down . The warmth that makes him blush every time he feels it. The warmth that he never felt from anybody else. Kaveh's touch.

Alhaitam nodded by the answer and started to eat again.

" I love you, Alhaitam . "
He chuckled.
