Just another usual day in Sumeru. The birds are chirping, the sound of the leaves being swept away by the winds , the sun rays hitting his face. The sound of someone humming can be heard , too.

Alhaitham woke up just to see his lover is not beside him . Kaveh didn't usually wake up this early, or he's the one that overslept?

His question was answered once he looked at the clock. Yes, he overslept. By that, he got up from the bed and started to get ready to go to work.

When he was taking a shower, something hit him. It feels like he forgot something. Is there anything special today? Anything memorable happened today? Is there anything important today? As far as he remembered, he got no meetings today. In fact, he didn't have any work to do. So why is he even going to work anyway?
He shook his head off and got out of the bathroom.

Alhaitham left his room only to experience a sweet aroma hitting his nose. The smell of a food full of spices. When he reached the kitchen, he saw a figure, which is his lover , of course.

"Good morning." Alhaitham said , startled the male.
"Good morning, ya amar." Kaveh replied, turning off the stove. He stood in front of Alhaitham and kissed his forehead.
"Stop calling me that. " Alhaitham blushed. He always gets defeated by Kaveh whenever he calls him that. Kaveh smirked and continued what he was doing.
"What did you make for breakfast?" Alhaitham asked. He was curious about what Kaveh was making.

"Pita bread and Kofta Tahini* . I am still learning about the recipe, i would like you to try it out !" Kaveh said excitedly while serving the food.

( I tried my best to look for some Arabic foods , my apologies if the information about this food is incorrect.)

" Such a heavy breakfast, don't you think?"

" I made this so you would stay full until afternoon. You always skip meals, even though i tried so many times to stop you from doing that ."

" That's unfortunate."

Alhaitham looked at the food that Kaveh served. He eats the food while looking at Kaveh. The way his soft hair swayed , following his body movements. The way his slender hands cleaned the mess that he did. It made Alhaitham cheeks flushed a bit. How did he pull such a handsome and ethereal man with his look and temper?

While eating peacefully, suddenly the thoughts came back, taking over Alhaitham's head. What day is today? Did he forget something?
"Kaveh, what date is today?" Alhaitham asked.
"It's the 11th of February, why?" Kaveh answered while grabbing a chair to sit down in front of Alhaitham.

" Is there anything important today?" Alhaitham asked in such an innocent tone. Kaveh realized something. Alhaitham forgot his own birthday, again. This is not something unsual, after all. He thinks that his birthday isn't important, that's why he forgot about it. But he remembers Kaveh's, does that mean Kaveh's birthday is special to him ?

"I don't think so. I don't remember if there's anything special going on today."

Kaveh played along. He has some plans to do with Alhaitham tonight , so he had to be secretive. By making Alhaitham think that Kaveh has forgotten about his birthday too.
