our stars are those that burn
brightest and refuse to fade
- ariana✧
goldie's so effortlessly herself, it's like, no wonder the ones around her love her for it. she's a dream you don't ever want to wake from, no matter how many twists and turns there are along the way, it's always worth it with her. she's a sunrise ready to ascend past the clouds, and if she had the chance there would be no dithering thoughts, she would go for it. better yet, she puts the stars and sun to shame with no real intention: a galaxy in her eyes while a universe plays in her mind-she's gold, god, she's so golden. she's honeysuckles and bagels and cupcakes and all things divine (so, so divine), but the sun wants its shine back.
and when words fail to bring goldie's thoughts to life, the music does it for her; she treats her guitar in a gentle manner, the strands of her hair falling and clouding her view. it's in front of her eyes where the result of hours of work are shown. It's evident in her features, or, to be more specific, the dark lines that linger on her droopy eyelids just slightly above the tiny tattoo of a star painted yellow on her face where deliberate ink had been splattered, only barely.
and with the more details noémie notices, the more she believes she is, at least, infatuated with her.
